It is amazing morning forest view. I bought one used Rolleiflex camera but I couldn't start taking photo. Your start and ending of short journey inspired me. Thanks. 😊
400 speed film seems awfully fast for a camera such as this, where your highest shutter speed is, what, 1/500th sec? Did you shoot at box speed? I’m often amazed at this, as the fastest speed film in the era of these cameras was maybe ISO100.
Planar 2,8f is a flarepron lens and need a lens hud. Original lens hud is very expensive but you can take a cheap one 40.5 mm and adapt it, i use glue.
Really cool video. Loved the soundscape as well. I have the same camera. Noticed you put on the macro adapter to get the spider web. I also enjoy shooting in the forest. Most of my instagram is 2.8F shots. @mediumformula
Thanks David. Yeah, that was the Rolleinar III that I used for that close up shot. I've since picked up the I and II as well. Perhaps I'll try and work those into a future video. I'll check out your Instagram. Regards,
Its a 'soft shutter release button'. Google it, there are a ton of different ones out there to fit everyones style. I like the extra surface area that it gives the release button. Makes for a more confident button press IMO.
This forest is magical. Really love your style and color grading. May I ask where this is? I have a Rolleiflex Automat sitting at home that I haven't used yet because the viewing screen is just so dim. A CLA may be too expensive, so I'm thinking about letting it go. Anyway, gorgeous work as always. Subbed!
Thank you. This is in a little park on the outskirts of Indianapolis. Very quaint and less-visited compared to some of the other parks in the area. Dim viewing screens can be challenging, however, I would encourage you to run at least one roll of film through your Rollei before you cut it loose. The camera and results might just surprise you.
@@GGMediaWorks I briefly had an Ona Bowery, a nice bag but it was the suede one, (too posh for me), I sold it and carried on using my Billingham's, I have a battered 225 that I have had in use since 1981, a Hadley pro that's just a few year old and a Stowaway, the Billingham Stowaway holds my M2 nicely. Do you find the leather really robust, it looks really nice, I bet over the coming years it will build a nice patina with use.
@@MichaelWilde.pushbikegraddad Yeah, the leather is quite thick but still supple. Liked it so much I picked up a ONA Brixton in black leather as well. I've got a little collection of bags going, use a different one depending on which kit I'm taking out. I've been wanting to pickup a Billingham at some point as I hear nothing but good things about them. Impressive to hear that yours has held up since the 80's. I've been tempted by a few of the Oberwerth bags as well.
Wonderful car and wonderful camera.
A great 'zen' atmosphere... refreshing. Thanks a lot 🙏🏻
WOW! That Rollei looks brand new. Incredible.
What a pleasant walk. Good pictures!
I love the way this camera treats light and shadow as a distinct shape and this is best for traditional painters!
Agreed, the 80mm Zeiss Planar is just legendary.
A peaceful walk with a great camera! What could be better! Nicely done!

Awesome car! Very nice video too! I love going for a walk in the woods with a Rolleiflex; I keep it in my car ready to go at all times.
Yep, I try to keep a camera (other than my phone) on me or in the car at all times too.

Great car use have one years ago and always regretted selling it
It has been a wonderful car over the years. Not many recognize it for what it is, but those who do appreciate it even more.
GG Media Works Always regretted selling mine must be 10yrs now
I love that this is the top comment. Such a beautiful car.
Nice!

Thanks for the advice. I've picked up a hood for the Rollei and should be seen the next time I upload some Rollei content.
No glue please on such cameras, if the germans hear you they might go for another Reich
I enjoy composing on 6x6

@@GGMediaWorks Thanks so much for the tip! I definitely would like to try to run a test roll, and your video has definitely been a huge inspiration.
The Rolleicord is a great camera. Give it a chance. You can always get the rolleiflex
Cool!
Did you metered at 400 or 200? Great photos and very well put together video!
Metered at 400 for these shots. Thank you very much.
Where is this forest? Can i please get a location. please.
Is that a leather Bowery bag
Yep, that is the ONA Bowery, its one of my favorite bags that I own.

@@GGMediaWorks I would really recommend the Billingham bags, they can take a lot of beating and hold 'gallons' of kit
Beautiful car! What is that?
1988 BMW M5
How did you develop the film? Thank you
Yes, self-developed at home in Ilford DD-X.
Those cameras live and breathe!
I would’ve loaded the film beforehand but that’s just me.
