  • Three ex-armed forces men have launched an academy teaching the skills of chauffeuring. Peter Curley, David Brooks and Oliver Jones have trained troops in the British military and hope they can use their army expertise to prepare people for a new career in professional driving.
Many of the people they train are also ex-military, some of whom have lost jobs during the pandemic.

After their much appreciated service, armed forces veterans should be given every support and opportunity to pursue any career they see fit.

Being a veteran myself, it's nice that you're moving on with life and doing your own things but why would you want to drive around stuck up people all day because lets be honest... nine times out of ten you're going to get people that look down on you. Why don't you join the cadet force or start programs in schools to get kids interested in the army or maybe helping the thousands of homeless vets on the streets?

I always said once I finish service in the army, that I'd like to gather like minded veterans and open a form of boarding school for disadvantaged and abandoned/orphaned/rebellious kids and do basic skills and survival training, and get them in shape for a career in the military, if that's something they're interested in. But that's still 5 years or so away
