Taryn's Trader Joe's story is so beautiful and really shows how impactful kindness to strangers can be. NGL though I would have silently sobbed + ugly cried the moment he asked if I was ok.
Life is so much easier when you hit like 28+ because you have more skills and job experience and some idea of what you want to do. Even if you're furthering your education when you're older you just have life figured out more and are way more capable. Once you have even just 6months to a year in your chosen career life is drastically easier.
I have a friend of about 15 years who wasn't able to explain what I do for my job to another friend of his. His friend gave him flack for it and was like umm how can you not explain what your close friend of 10+years does for a living? I don't even have a complicated job it's just he was never interested when I shared something about my work or hobbies meanwhile I can tell you the names of all of his coworkers and what they had for lunch last Tuesday. I was always bothered by it so it was a wakeup call when someone else called it out as ridiculous.
I have some advice to anonymous i’m in my 40s i’ve got a lovely job in Tesco’s supermarket in UK it’s not my dream job but I’ve made the best of it and I am a union rep and I love it because people take me serious 🧐 please don’t rush yourself listen to the Baz Luhrmann song wear sunscreen it’s from 1999 it’s a song 🎶 it’s my favourite song please take care everyone x that story with a coffee barista give flower i’m in 😭 what a lovely person
What do you know? To make friends, you only have two options. You dominate or you suck up. Friendships only happen when two people are unequal. After all, Impact>Income

Hi Taryn! Fellow psychology major here 🥰 thank you for all that you do for the kiddos! You are appreciated ❤️
Needed this a year ago and still needed it today! Being in your 20s is rough 😭😅

I love when I wake up at 5:30am and there's a new podcast to listen to while I watch the sun come up 🥰
Even if I am in highschool this really helped me be more confident on whether I should go to school or not.
Taryn's laugh after Ashley's "I'm sure that's not the way you're intending it" 😂

Guys.. I just want y’all to know that school might not be for everybody, but influencing isn’t either. It’s not possible for all.
