It uses a ton of samples, and as a producer, chopping up and using samples is so much fun it’s not funny
seconded, i'm just a beginner producer and i kinda suck at samples but it really is incredibly fun

The Simpsons may be what put Matt Groening on the map but futurama is his real masterpiece
This, Simpsons aren't as interesting as Futurama imo
I love Futurama but The Simpsons season 1-8 as a body of work has still not been surpassed.

I love the simpsons, but the real thing here is that Futurama is better, at storytelling, amazing and charismatic characters... it shows that Matt, David and the writters put some time on build the story, some episodes have an amazing plot twist.. like that one (my fav *spoilers* ) where Fry thought that his brother had stolen his name and it turns out that it was his nephew in honor of himself

In my opinion, there's really no comparing the two, I love both shows equally.
I usually hate replying to such old comments but seasons 3-8 of the simpsons are priceless and on par with Futurama as a whole, but anything after season 8 of the simpsons is shit

Among the last lines the Professor says in the Finale, he says "Okay, I've modded the device to release a single huge anti-chronoton blast, it should rip us out of stasis, back to the instant before I conceived of the time button." meaning that Fry, Leela, Amy, Hermes, Zoidberg, Bender, Professor, and everyone else get reset moments before the time button gets invented, so they'll be in an infinite loop of time freezing and restarting back to that point.
Kinda sad, they'll always reset back, unable to change the course of events. Fry will always break the time button, Fry and Leela will always grow old together frozen in time, the Professor will always come back and offer them a chance to go around again, which they will always take because they don't know they've done it before.
Cameron Thayer but we don’t strictly know when the professor conceived of the time button. it could be any point from the beginning of the series to right after the late Philip J Fry or indeed just before the season finale. Either way it’s never directly stated.

Never forget the time i sat down to watch Futurama, i had a plate of nachos. The first Scene was Fry watching TV, eating some nachos. Thats when i realized, i am Fry.

This song takes me back to 2007 when they released season 6 after being cancelled for 4 years. Season six was the first time I was old enough to remember a season of futurama being new. I’ll never forget this show. And I’ll never forget Bender. Bender was my favorite character.
And the way they introduced it roasting the fox board, introducing characters in the intro and with an epic space battle involving all the characters was just too good

The sheer diversity of sound in this tune and the fact that it manages to remain an absolute bop to this day are testaments to how this show was able to create its own identity instead of being relegated to aping other genre works like groenings latest show disenchantment. This show will always have a special place in my heart.
