I had watched this show (as much as I could) when I was at max 7 years old, and I still wait for that as next month I will be 15! (In hungary this show aired half a year later than the english version and I only know hungarian at the time so becuse of this is the time diffrence.)

what's crazy is this show never would have been a thing same with regular show if the creator of adventure time didn't hire them and help them along with their ambitions. gravity falls and regular show creators both worked under and for the adventure time creator. they were animators and after finishing adventure time they made their own shows and we got these two glorious works of art
yeah, I feel like if they ever try to reboot/continue the story, they'll ruin it. it's pure gold as it is. and as much as I want more, it ended in the best way it could've.
Hirsch needs a wild idea for season 3. Dipper & Mabel should go to South America where summer will continue. Argentina looks very similar to the Pacific Northwest.

In my opinion this is literally, the perfect show for both younger audiences and older, it’s so unbelievably good to the point where no matter the age you can enjoy it, this opening alone had me hooked on the entire series, I watched and rewatched more Times than I can count, and not for a second do I regret it, I love this show with all my soul, it was an amazing childhood memory that has always stuck with me, I love Gravity Falls on a scale few can compare to

This brings me back when I was 10-11 years old. I remember being hyped with each episode premiere and creating theories with my friends in school. I miss those times.
I remember being 11 on the playground at school and talking about each episode the day after it aired, we come up with theories and predictions about what we saw and then on Thursday (new episode day) we'd all guess what monsters or weirdness would be the focus of that night's episode. I still remember it being a dark autmun night at around 5:30 pm after playing Hockey after school waiting for our parents to pick us up excited to watch it when it came on at 6 and I correctly predicted that that night's episode would have the brain in the freezer we saw in the trailers and I correctly assumed there would be ghosts. Good times man, good times.
I'm f*ckin glad I wasn't born too early or too late to miss this masterpiece of a show--funny, wholesome, yet too advanced for its time. Gravity Falls will always have a special place in my heart no matter how old I'll be.

The current theory is that, he isn’t dead. With the giant axolotyles poem, and grunkle stan speaking backwards like bill on the recording found at the irl mystery hunt, i think its safe to say that this story isn’t over.

I remember in 2014 I went to a friend's house, I saw this playing on TV but didn't ask about the show, despite the fact it was very interesting. Then in 2015, I saw the show again when my dad took me to his friend's house (since we didn't have a TV), and then again didn't ask the show name cause I was shy. But when we got home I tried looking for the show all over the internet, but only to find it in 2016. I watched the show in about one week or less as I'd remember. Was quite sad as it ended, then I started watching videos about gravity falls, and more and more. Then I stopped until 2017, when I came back to watch the show again, all the memories came back, I continued to watch videos on the show, and in 2018, and in 2019, and I've re-watched the show once more just last year in 2020. Now here I am in 2021, it's been a while. This show never gets old, I feel dumb being sad about this show ending though, but love it.
It's hard to say it, but I think the reason behind not creating the third season is the same as not creating Half-Life 3. The creators think that they will break the story by creating another part.
I totally agree. I would of loved to see more, but I think that it only being 2 seasons makes it better. It was one summer, 2 months it makes much more sense for it being two seasons.

In my opinion this is literally, the perfect show for both younger audiences and older, it’s so unbelievably good to the point where no matter the age you can enjoy it, this opening alone had me hooked on the entire series, I watched and rewatched more Times than I can count, and not for a second do I regret it, I love this show with all my soul, it was an amazing childhood memory that has always stuck with me, I love Gravity Falls on a scale few can compare to

I remember being 11 on the playground at school and talking about each episode the day after it aired, we come up with theories and predictions about what we saw and then on Thursday (new episode day) we'd all guess what monsters or weirdness would be the focus of that night's episode. I still remember it being a dark autmun night at around 5:30 pm after playing Hockey after school waiting for our parents to pick us up excited to watch it when it came on at 6 and I correctly predicted that that night's episode would have the brain in the freezer we saw in the trailers and I correctly assumed there would be ghosts. Good times man, good times.

@@iamradioactive idk about a season 3, but possibly a sequel or some tie in with rick and morty. Theres still a big mystery left unsolved. And its revolving around bill. The current theory is that, he isn’t dead. With the giant axolotyles poem, and grunkle stan speaking backwards like bill on the recording found at the irl mystery hunt, i think its safe to say that this story isn’t over.
dude i remember coming home after school in 2014-2016 and would watch this show and loved it so much. this show introduced me into mystery (other than scooby doo) and i loved anything that had to do with mystery/solving mysteries ever since! i'm so glad this show was apart of my childhood. thank you so much alex hirsch.

I remember in 2014 I went to a friend's house, I saw this playing on TV but didn't ask about the show, despite the fact it was very interesting. Then in 2015, I saw the show again when my dad took me to his friend's house (since we didn't have a TV), and then again didn't ask the show name cause I was shy. But when we got home I tried looking for the show all over the internet, but only to find it in 2016. I watched the show in about one week or less as I'd remember. Was quite sad as it ended, then I started watching videos about gravity falls, and more and more. Then I stopped until 2017, when I came back to watch the show again, all the memories came back, I continued to watch videos on the show, and in 2018, and in 2019, and I've re-watched the show once more just last year in 2020. Now here I am in 2021, it's been a while. This show never gets old, I feel dumb being sad about this show ending though, but love it.
It's hard to say it, but I think the reason behind not creating the third season is the same as not creating Half-Life 3. The creators think that they will break the story by creating another part.

I totally agree. I would of loved to see more, but I think that it only being 2 seasons makes it better. It was one summer, 2 months it makes much more sense for it being two seasons.
