cis--MOLL !!!
There are so many good performances recorded of this quartet but this is one I particularly like. It has both substance and essential lightness and wit. Really enjoyable tempi. It is music one always enjoys playing no matter how many times!
I'm playing this as a cellist in only a week's time. I'm looking at my cello part as I listen to this, and thik the cello should be louder, butthis has really helped, as I read my cello part along with it.
I am so happy Asaf Zohar made a career. I remember when he played Brahms to Rubinstein when Asaf was 15 years old at the Khan Music Centre. Bracha Eden was the teacher I think. Those were happy days.
I never really liked Mozart because I never connected to his music for some reason. I am mostly drawn to the music of the impressionist period and the latter half of the 20th century. I enjoy composers like Debussy, Ravel, Koechlin, Boulanger, Scriabin, Webern, Ligeti, Feldman, Takemitsu, and Messiaen. I've listened to this piece before but listening to it now has made me gain a greater appreciation for Mozart. Thank you for this wonderful performance!
From 0'54'' happens that rare harmonic invention is something that Schubert clearly never forgot when he composed his late masterpieces.
0:14 - Allegro
10:56 - Andante
18:11 - Rondo
What a great performance! A healthy balance of masculine gusto and delicate grace.
This is absolutely world class of playing Mozart. Superb.
Slick vibrant elegance - Mozart at his best - and that's unparalleled.
At 06:17 is one of those not too rare moments in Mozart’s oeuvre that is worth to be born and die for
🎶 Yes and 17:33 or ... 🎶

Meraviglioso ! Grazie !
In 3:46 someone in the audience sneezes in a way that makes sense musically (somehow), and Shaham smiles about it :-D
You have a very sensitive hearing
This recording is so human! In true Mozart style

A perfect work by the perfect composer! Did Asaf Zohar ad lib some notes at 20:55?
My dream was to be a pianist....maybe in another life! 😢
Ro E it’s never too late. Just invest in a piano and find an excellent teacher
Zahra Husain
And of course practice
That's a long time ago now so did he? You don't even need a good teacher, just invest in a piano and play! if you can read music.@@zahrahusain5965
