    www.horsetrainingvideos.com/f... In "Part 2" of this video series, Larry Trocha trains a young horse for the spin. The horse has never been taught to spin before so he’s just like an un-trained colt. This is the beginning stages of training a reining horse or reined cow horse to spin.

    Thank you so much Larry. My instructor won‘t let me move my outside hand across the mane, I guess it‘s alright though in the beginning stages of teaching them?

      There is more than one way to train a horse. If your instructor is getting good results, follow their lead.

      Hi Mike, Sorry, I don't remember. You can get a good pair from "Mane Street Tack" in Ione, California. They have a website.

    When you jump them forward, do you apply pressure with both spurs?

    • @ltrocha
      @ltrocha  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Either both or just the outside leg

    Hey Larry, how often do you work them? At this stage I can't ride every day, I could do almost every second day. Is this gonna be enough

    • @ltrocha
      @ltrocha  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, usually three times a week is enough
