The amount of ground water we use remains on earth in the same amount, the amount of water has not decreased in any way. But the amount of oil, gas and coal that is extracted is completely lost after use and is not coming back to earth. Due to the excessive extraction of this coal and oil, the balance of the earth is being disturbed.

At first glance, it does seem that anything in earth will still remain on earth in one way or another but this is not really the case. Mass can be converted to energy, and we expend that energy just by existing whether we realize it or not. Now it's true that the heaviest losses are those of fossil fuels but no chemical is completely immune to this process and water is no exception.

The amount of ground water doesn't remain as groundwater if we pump it out. The farther it moves away from the centre of Earth the more it will affect the tilt. Mining is also one cause but you can't just dismiss the affect of groundwater

Everyone talks about climate change caused by greenhouse gases, but I believe that's only part of the story. Minerals such as groundwater, oil, and other underground resources act as natural insulators, protecting the Earth's surface from the heat of its core. When we overexploit these resources through deep water boring, offshore oil drilling, and mining, we disrupt this balance. As a result, the heat from the Earth's core is seeping towards the surface. This is accelerating ice melting, igniting wildfires in forests, and turning fertile soil into barren sand.
I’m not a scientist, but I relate this to how a fever affects the human body. When I have a fever, it causes noticeable changes to my body and overall condition, so I will take medicine to neutralize the cause of the fever. Similarly, the Earth is responding to this imbalance by "healing" itself, potentially leading to the extinction of those responsible for causing the distress.

Sir, it is important for everyone to understand that when we extract water from depths roughly between 100-300 meters or deeper, we are often tapping into fossil water. This type of water is similar to petroleum in the sense that it takes thousands of years to replenish, if at all.
When we remove this ancient water, it creates a void or vacuum underground. Over time, the land above this void can collapse, leading to massive sinkholes. This phenomenon is becoming more common in regions where people heavily rely on deep groundwater extraction.

The ever changing axial tilt of the Earth on its axis is caused by, but not limited to continental drift and mountains upon mountains of magma displacement, that for the most part is hidden from view by our oceans. This additional tilt also causes the ice at the earth's poles to change as well, causing one side to add more ice while the other side loses it, like we are seeing on the continent of Antarctica. It's been losing mountains of ice on one side but still has as net gain of close to a 100 billion tons of ice a year, which is like adding the mass of Mount Everest to the continent every two years. The belief that removing ground water to be the primary cause of this is being a tad naive.

I've been fascinated by the subject of the enormous amount of underground water we extract ever since I became aware of the sheer scale of it!
My own additional concern (which I never see discussed... ANYWHERE... not even mentioned in this otherwise fairly comprehensive report) is: how much of this extracted water ends up in the atmosphere?
Water vapour is the most abundant greenhouse 'gas' (by a huge margin) - and the most effective at doing the job.
For millenia, all this underground water was locked away, unable to form part of the natural water cycle above ground.
But is the last few decades we have pumped a staggering amount of this water up onto the ground, a great deal of it to sustain the agricultural industry.
So now all this water that was once locked underground is now free and obviously a significant amount of it will evaporate and add to the existing amount of water that goes through the natural cycle of water on the planet...
I have seen countless studies about how CO2 is increase the amount of water vapour being retained in the atmosphere... but not a single word about how much of this additional atmospheric water vapour might be as a result of the exhaustive extraction of underground water.
I do believe it's a pretty obvious question that needs to be asked... and also believe it will never be asked, because the answer then would be that we have to stop doing it.
But we can't: we are locked into a cycle which is necessary to feed the ENORMOUS human population on this planet.
    Awkward problem..?

It is true my observation about the Earth's axis tilt and its potential impact on rising sea levels is quite fascinating because I witnessed it fasthand. During a recent visit to Lake Victoria, I observed a similar phenomenon. I noticed structures, including houses and what appeared to be locally-made hotels, now submerged or partially covered by water. This suggests significant water level changes, which could correlate with broader environmental shifts. Such observations underscore the importance of investigating these global phenomena and their localized impacts.

  • @AmericanAmbience

The axis tilt is a natural phenomenon not by change water inside but it happened before. Earths axis shift happened .
Precession: The Earth's axis slowly wobbles over time, causing the direction of the tilt to change in a cycle lasting around 26,000 years.
Tilt variations: The amount of tilt can also change slightly over long periods, with cycles of around 41,000 years.

Talking about climate change makes you easily sound an intellectual but when we dig deep into the earths history we find that climate change and sea level rise happens quite frequently throughout earths history without human intervention.
People in Africa are dying because of abstract brutal poverty and people of middle east suffering from the Islamic war virus and dying in worthless wars.
I dont understand how the intellectual miss that when it comes to human or any other being, we will always choose our survival first.

The only technical reason i can think of is, the off balance of the earth was caused only after when China built the biggest dam the 3 gorgeous rivers joining into this dam . Billions of m³ of water accumulated at one point ,thus off setting the axis of the earth.

Overpopulation is the major issue. Every kind of pollution & disasters is directly proportional to number of humans on earth. If we keep on consuming & polluting things it's obvious there will be a point where we will be helpless.
Economy or paper money or gold is useless infront of natural disasters & depleted natural resources.

Al-Qur'aan 21:31: States that mountains were set in place to prevent the earth from shaking
The Quran's descriptions of mountains are consistent with modern geological data. Mountains have deep roots that can extend several times the height of the mountain above ground. They act like nails holding the Earth's crust together, preventing it from sliding over the magma layer. Without the stabilizing effect of mountains, the Earth's plates would shift, making life on Earth impossible.

The Earth is not just beginning to tilt and wobble. This is misinformation. The axis of the Earth is already tilted at an angle of 23.5 degrees away from vertical, perpendicular to the plane of our planet's orbit around the sun. This tilt is known as the Earth's axial tilt or the obliquity of the eclipse. This tilt of the Earth happened due to a massive collision with a planet-sized object called Theia that occurred during the formation of the solar system. The Earth's tilt is the reason why we have seasons and climate changes in the first place. The obliquity or the tilt is why the sun shines on different latitudes at different angles throughout the year, what makes all the seasons. And again, the Earth wobbles on its axis due to the gravitational forces of the Sun and the Moon. What is called the axial precession or precession of the equinox. This wobble is similar to a spinning top that is almost falling over. The Earth has been rotating on its tilted axis and also wobbling ever since its formation. The channel has to do its homework thorough, even before making anything a news.

Can't live with it...can't live without it...the ultimate Catch 22 with water eh?. Somehow I don't think all of it is down to "bad old humans". The Earth has always tilted as it journeys around the sun...there's much more than just a human hand at work here...the universe works in mysterious ways...and we'd be arrogant as a species if we didn't realise that many cogs make a giant wheel...we're just a small cog...not THE important one...but a part of the mechanics of life.
