#Ellipse is a #ConicCurve obtained when a cone is cut by a plane such that it intersects the opposite generators of the cone. There are many methods to draw it. This video shows how a method called #GeneralMethod or #EccentricityMethod. We use a value called eccentricity to draw it.

Sir we got a question same but we have some extension that it is asking draw a tangent and normal to the curve at a point 80 from directrix.
Then what we have to doo????

You'd have to draw a line parallel to directrix at the said distance. Take its intersection with the curve.

You must have made the same mistake that everyone does. The line is divided but points are not visible to you.
Change the point style using ddptype command.
