Thank y'all for making this video. I'm a 34 year old single Christian man and I am a virgin, waiting until marriage. I'm praying to God that if it's His will for me to be married to lead my wife and I to each other, and I had a feeling of peace come over me twice after I prayed so I wonder if that is God's way of letting me know that God wants me to be married when the time is right. I'm trying to wait on the Lord and I know His timing is always perfect.
I just wanted to thank you both and have inspired me and have helped my so much! I am in my 30s and have never been married and you guys have really helped me feel hope! I have recently started watching your channel and your words and advice have helped me more than I can put in to words!! I feel grateful that I came across your channel!! Keep up the incredible content!! You guys are excellent examples and have helped me continue to save myself for when I do get married and not follow the ways of the world! I know that God is always aware of us and I am trusting his timing!! Have a great weekend and thanks again for everything! Keep being amazing!
I was hoping you guys had a video for single pringles like me! Glad I found it too. I'll be making my list soon; I've been trying to do more self-reflective journaling lately, and this fits right in! I really hope I can have a family like you guys someday. :) Thanks for being such an inspiration!
What I like and what I also believe, you have to be friends before a couple can be lovers. And this advise is different from what some of the dating coaches say, "avoid the friend zone." And yes, everything happens in the Lord's time, and if he wants one to be single, he will make sure that happens. Thanks again and God bless.
One thing to consider is that serving each other in marriage is actually a form of worship to Jesus. Marriage is a ministry. Paul, when giving that, was expressing his personal preference to stay single as he found he could be closer to Jesus that way (I.e. his personal conviction). He’s right about keeping God first and that’s a must but keep in mind he incorporated his personal conviction in that run down.
Thank you for this video. It’s just what I needed. I might have found THE ONE now. I’m going on a blind date soon. My friend is matching me up with a guy who she met in her new school. She was very honest with me regarding his shortcomings/flutterings on horses but he has a heart for Jesus and does sound more genuine than the odd guys I’ve met on Christian dating websites who only wanted to talk to me about sex that I got quite upset about. I’m waiting for him to call and I trust in the Lord that his timing is perfect. I kind of know that we will have a lot in common and all I want currently is to build up a solid friendship on these coffee shop dates then who knows we might go hiking together. My friend has kind of implied that she will commit suicide if he met anyone who fancies him. I just want to fall in love with Jesus as I cement a sound friendship. We shall just wait and see. ❤
I am 28 going on 29 this February and I have been single since October 2015 and the more that time passes the more my impatience grows and no words can describe how badly I want someone and quite frankly my strong desire to have someone in my life is at the degree that if I have to turn against God to do it then so be it but however that kind of thinking makes me sound desperate so I can’t afford to think like that but the point is that at this point I am plain tired of waiting and I simply refuse to wait until my 30’s or 40’s for a mate regardless of Gods plan’s for me it’s as simple as that but in the meantime I do pray for God’s guidance, help, and direction I also remain committed to my professional career the two major obstacles that I see is my work and the fact that I am mostly a homebody if I am not working.

@@OurFruitfulFamily Just to clarify my specific situation a little bit further the reason why I say that my place of work is a factor working against me is because I work during the graveyard shift (10pm to 6am to be exact) so which means I spend the days at home sleeping and then getting up to work during the night and the other thing being a homebody that is mainly by choice and it’s not to suggest that I don’t go out in the public eye at all I just simply enjoy all the comforts of home as opposed to going out.

Interesting… have you read about the ESV in which we use? While I will agree that many versions of today are poorly translated in order to fit a particular narrative… the KJV is not the only or most accurate interpretation of the word of God from the Greek and Hebrew text. www.crossway.org/articles/10-things-you-should-know-about-the-esv-translation/
@@OurFruitfulFamily could be right. Take when I heard the scripture you cited for example. I had no way of knowin what type of Bible it was from, but I felt the witness if the spirit that it wasn't the true word. I say every word here with love and respect to you both, but I wouldn't ignore the spirit to believe what man would say was true or first. Many think that all bibles are bibles and that a word or 2 here or there just makes it "easier to read", but it only takes one word to turn the true into a lie. I know who's a pro at that, but I serve one greater than him.
I look for the most accurate Word for Word translation whenever I do my studies. ESV from what I have found is one of the most accurate translation straight from the Hebrew and Greek. You can literally look up Word for Word what is in the ESV and find that it matches perfectly to the Greek and Hebrew translation. I would be agreeing with you if I were using the NLT or NIV translation, for instance. Also, in every on screen text, that refers to scripture in our latest videos, it says the passage and translation for each scripture. My dad is a diehard KJV reader, and he actually had several instances where he had to look up the Hebrew and Greek translations in order to better understand a text and then I show him the ESV and it was the exact translation that he came to after hours of researching, the original Greek and Hebrew. Not saying that the KJV has no merit… but just because something is really old does not make it a better translation. Did you take the opportunity to read the link that I sent you? I do not usually argue Bible translations, but I send it just to show that the translation that I read is just as inerrant and infallible as the KJV.
You two are really lovely. If all Christians were like you I might be attracted to a church. But the fact is, most Christians (and I've hundreds) are not very nice. I find most Christians self righteous, pious, holier than thou, uptight judgemental asshats. I also don't believe for one second that God is finding you a mate. Or enabling a team to win a football game or getting you a job etc He's letting kids starve in Africa but he'll find you a husband??? Christians are delusional. Just because you two found each other doesn't mean God arranged it. You were just lucky.
First off, thank you for the compliment at the beginning.. not so sure about the delusional comment (hurts a tiny bit), but we are all entitled to our opinion. God bless you Lane.
@@OurFruitfulFamily Sorry, that was rude. At the end of the day no-one really knows anything and any of us could be right, so the best thing to do is live as authentically as possible, which the two of you are doing. Much respect to you both.

Take up your Bible and right in the beginning with the fall of man came suffering, but Christ is the way to eternal life. I pray you find the Truth.
