    Thank y'all for making this video. I'm a 34 year old single Christian man and I am a virgin, waiting until marriage. I'm praying to God that if it's His will for me to be married to lead my wife and I to each other, and I had a feeling of peace come over me twice after I prayed so I wonder if that is God's way of letting me know that God wants me to be married when the time is right. I'm trying to wait on the Lord and I know His timing is always perfect.

    What I like and what I also believe, you have to be friends before a couple can be lovers. And this advise is different from what some of the dating coaches say, "avoid the friend zone." And yes, everything happens in the Lord's time, and if he wants one to be single, he will make sure that happens. Thanks again and God bless.

    One thing to consider is that serving each other in marriage is actually a form of worship to Jesus. Marriage is a ministry. Paul, when giving that, was expressing his personal preference to stay single as he found he could be closer to Jesus that way (I.e. his personal conviction). He’s right about keeping God first and that’s a must but keep in mind he incorporated his personal conviction in that run down.

    Thank you for this video. It’s just what I needed. I might have found THE ONE now. I’m going on a blind date soon. My friend is matching me up with a guy who she met in her new school. She was very honest with me regarding his shortcomings/flutterings on horses but he has a heart for Jesus and does sound more genuine than the odd guys I’ve met on Christian dating websites who only wanted to talk to me about sex that I got quite upset about. I’m waiting for him to call and I trust in the Lord that his timing is perfect. I kind of know that we will have a lot in common and all I want currently is to build up a solid friendship on these coffee shop dates then who knows we might go hiking together. My friend has kind of implied that she will commit suicide if he met anyone who fancies him. I just want to fall in love with Jesus as I cement a sound friendship. We shall just wait and see. ❤

    I am 28 going on 29 this February and I have been single since October 2015 and the more that time passes the more my impatience grows and no words can describe how badly I want someone and quite frankly my strong desire to have someone in my life is at the degree that if I have to turn against God to do it then so be it but however that kind of thinking makes me sound desperate so I can’t afford to think like that but the point is that at this point I am plain tired of waiting and I simply refuse to wait until my 30’s or 40’s for a mate regardless of Gods plan’s for me it’s as simple as that but in the meantime I do pray for God’s guidance, help, and direction I also remain committed to my professional career the two major obstacles that I see is my work and the fact that I am mostly a homebody if I am not working.

      @@OurFruitfulFamily Just to clarify my specific situation a little bit further the reason why I say that my place of work is a factor working against me is because I work during the graveyard shift (10pm to 6am to be exact) so which means I spend the days at home sleeping and then getting up to work during the night and the other thing being a homebody that is mainly by choice and it’s not to suggest that I don’t go out in the public eye at all I just simply enjoy all the comforts of home as opposed to going out.

      @@OurFruitfulFamily the King James Version was the first complete Bible to be translated into English under the reign of King James. A group of 70 scholars, by the order of the king under the direction of THE King, divided the biblical books between smaller groups amongst themselves to be translated from Greek, Hebrew, Egyptian, Italian and other languages into English. When each group had finished their respective books, they swapped with other groups for proof readin, checkin and recheckin to be sure that no word had been mistranslated, misunderstood or misspelled. Thus became the King James Version circa 1611 authorized, inspired, infallible word of God. Since then, man has took it upon himself to rewrite God's word to suit themselves to the extent that there are now 16 verses of scripture that are included in the KJV but are completely omitted in various other versions. Another 8 verses have words that are particularly missin from the original translation. They range from as seemingly harmless as changin "thou" to "you" all the way to omittin entire verses that God said, but man didn't agree with. Think of it like the telephone game kids play. They make a long line or big circle around and one kid starts by whisperin a few sentences into the next one's ear. This continues until the end of the line or beginnin of the circle, by which time, the story or phrase has dramatically changed from it's original wordin. When kids do it, it teaches them not to lie or gossip. When adults do it with God's word, they mislead people into all kinds of paths astray from the one God would have em follow. Moreover, they endanger themselves by tamperin with God's word.
      Revelation 22:18-21 KJV
      18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
      19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
      20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
      21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
      Besides this, God's word IS God (John 1:1 KJV) and is forever settled in Heaven (Psalms 119:89 KJV). This means that no matter how much it's copies are changed, perverted or tampered with, we will all be judged by THE word. Don't get me wrong, my brother and sister, I ain't condemnin, hatin or fussin. I'm tellin you the truth in love because I don't want you to be mislead into thinkin that any other version is God's word.

      @OurFruitfulFamily  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting… have you read about the ESV in which we use? While I will agree that many versions of today are poorly translated in order to fit a particular narrative… the KJV is not the only or most accurate interpretation of the word of God from the Greek and Hebrew text.

      @@OurFruitfulFamily could be right. Take when I heard the scripture you cited for example. I had no way of knowin what type of Bible it was from, but I felt the witness if the spirit that it wasn't the true word. I say every word here with love and respect to you both, but I wouldn't ignore the spirit to believe what man would say was true or first. Many think that all bibles are bibles and that a word or 2 here or there just makes it "easier to read", but it only takes one word to turn the true into a lie. I know who's a pro at that, but I serve one greater than him.

    • @OurFruitfulFamily
      @OurFruitfulFamily  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I look for the most accurate Word for Word translation whenever I do my studies. ESV from what I have found is one of the most accurate translation straight from the Hebrew and Greek. You can literally look up Word for Word what is in the ESV and find that it matches perfectly to the Greek and Hebrew translation. I would be agreeing with you if I were using the NLT or NIV translation, for instance. Also, in every on screen text, that refers to scripture in our latest videos, it says the passage and translation for each scripture. My dad is a diehard KJV reader, and he actually had several instances where he had to look up the Hebrew and Greek translations in order to better understand a text and then I show him the ESV and it was the exact translation that he came to after hours of researching, the original Greek and Hebrew. Not saying that the KJV has no merit… but just because something is really old does not make it a better translation. Did you take the opportunity to read the link that I sent you? I do not usually argue Bible translations, but I send it just to show that the translation that I read is just as inerrant and infallible as the KJV.

    You two are really lovely. If all Christians were like you I might be attracted to a church.
    But the fact is, most Christians (and I've hundreds) are not very nice. I find most Christians self righteous, pious, holier than thou, uptight judgemental asshats.
    I also don't believe for one second that God is finding you a mate. Or enabling a team to win a football game or getting you a job etc

      Actually, Christians are not the standard for perfection. Jesus Christ is. Don't look to people, look to Christ and find a church that preaches the Bible and how sinful men can be saved. God is sovereign which means He is in complete control over your life and everything in this world. Don't run away from your Creator, run to Him Lane.
