Yup consulting work sucks big time. My company was good too but clients and their deadlines were something I tell you ...I got burnt out because of that. Unfortunately I haven't found any company where Clients are very good to work with.

I have seen people get similar salaries - if not 180K then atleast 120-150K All depends on how good you are at what you do and if you can market yourself well to the employers via networking , LinkedIn etc
180K CAD is abt 133K USD. The avg salary that software devs earn in America. Surprised to see so many ppl butt hurt by her success instead of asking how they can make this kinda salary. Change your outlook ppl.
