Concerning Gentleman RP, I wasn't blown away by the chestnut/chocolate feeling, especially disappointed by the drydown. By the Fireplace for the chestnut, as well Dior Homme OG for the choco/iris do it much better IMO
This is definitely on my to acquire list for this year. I've been looking out for this. It's been out in Europe for a while now but we're a bit behind here in North America with online discounters. How you review is very articulate and detailed and I appreciate that. I wouldn't be surprised too if Givenchy puts out either a Parfum or Elixir flanker for this very impressive line. I just got this from Macy's last Sunday, I wore it on Monday and got a couple of compliments, this is a great release from the Gentleman line, worth the full purchase. Great review Dallas..

got a small sample (6ml) from the boisee I just bought and didn't like it at all. I sampled it in store and preferred boisee out of the whole gentlemen line. This reserve privee gives me headache from just the first whiff.

The edp is super beast mode stays on your clothes for days stays on skin all day for real
The reserve is light on its feet too. Below average longevity and projection. Which is a crying shame as the scent itself is soooo good.

First 2 hours very loud and projection is verygood and then bubbles up for 3 hours

If you have the edp you don't need this, dry down is the same.
All these designers moving toward sweet caramel nutty fragrances will become boring and generic. It already is.
