Reserve Privée is my favorite from the Gentleman line. It adds that whiskey twist that makes it stand out from other iris-based fragrances, although they could make it even more prominent in my opinion.
Def. Gentleman EDP Boisee. The creaminess from the iris and sandalwood mixed together perfectly, and the sweetness from the cacao is outstanding. I also sort of think that the mild projection fits it perfectly.
It's so underrated I remember my first time smelling it. I sprayed a little bit on left the base I was on got 20 mins down the street smelled it again and turned around and went back to get an 100ml bottle.
Blew my mind when I first smelled it. Incredible stuff for a designer scent. 🤤

Yes its meant to be a skin scent you get the full experience when it's light smelling only spray 4 sprays or 6 to have that experience
Gentleman EDT intense is my favorite. Love the herbaceous and fresh vibes that it brings to the DNA. Makes it very versatile imo.
EDP Boisee feels like the most complete out of all of them. My fave from the line, really should get a bottle of it for next autumn/winter (it’s already spring time here)

Gentleman boisee is definitely the best in my opinion. Iris, woody and cacao sensations going hand in hand in fragrance matrimony.
No it’s not it’s weak and doesn’t last at all. Society so much better I have Boisee and society. I’ve never gotten compliment wearing boisee. Society multiple compliments.
My favorite is Boisee. I just love how the sandalwood creaminess in it is mixed with the cacao and the iris.
The whole line is fantastic! But my favorite is actually Gentleman EDT. It just fits my style the best. However I do wear them all from time to time.
Idk why, but I've noticed that in the fragrance community, Gentleman Only is constantly being left out or forgotten about. Personally i adore that smell (fresh, welcoming, inviting, easy to wear, but at the same time very unique and somewhat addictive to my nose). A scent i can pull off for any occasion, dressy or casual.

Gentlemen Only, if you mean the bluer looking one in the Gentlemen Line, is awesome, it's like a blue fragrance, but better, and more versatile to me. I haven't gotten anything from the Gentleman line yet, it's warming up and 2/3 of my stuff is cold weather fragrances lol.

Gentlemen Only edt is my absolute favorite from Givenchy.
My favorite of the Gentleman line still to this day is Cologne. I love this style of fragrances, fresh but super classy, the green tinge along with the iris for me is top notch!
I just got Gentleman EDP a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely LOVE it. I am on a HUUUGE Iris kick lately, and I can’t get enough

Hey Ash, my favorite from the line is a tie between Reserve Privee and the EDT. Reserve Privee smells lovely in the cold, and EDT has this allure that I can't describe
Reserve Privee is my fav. That whiskey note mixed with the sparkly iris is killer.
For me Gentleman EDP is my favorite. It's got a nice balsamic thickness to it which makes it perfect for cold winter days and (date) nights. Projects great and lasts quite long. About 10 hours on my skin.
Gentleman EDP is my favorite from this line . Iris is beautiful here and performance is beastly!!!
I love the Boisé one, it is so smooth, super wearable and a nice variation 🤗
Reserve Prive is my favorite, just projects nicely and that booziness just kicks it up a notch
I loved it the first couple times I wore it but I think I’ve done to the realization that I really don’t like lipsticky Iris scents. Might have to sell my bottle

It last all night long. Get compliments daily but I wear it because the scent is so addicting. Seriously the best cologne as of recent.
Blind bought this from Givenchy. Got to smell it tonight at Macy’s and glad I did. I love Reserve Privee and this is definitely something very different. I’d say it’s a little less distinctive but nice and wearable for pretty much anything.
My favorite Gentleman is Boisee, I am a huge lover of cacao/chocolatey notes. I also own EDP, which is amazing, and Cologne, which is very nice and green.
Would really love to try your scents. This one sounds like a definite sample. I am a big fan of Givenchy and I think I've always liked the EDT for the freshness.

Reserve Privee is my favorite in the line by far. Simply an amazing winter fragrance.
Réserve privée is my personal favorite as it's warm and inviting and the blend of ingredients is immediately obvious even as a new and super sceptical collector. It does also help that swy intensly is currzntly a favourite of mine.
Society sounds interesting, but my current favorite is Gentlemen’s Reserve for the whiskey and woody notes. Great content, can’t wait for the next one👍
Dude thanks to you and your channel, I've made some great choices. I'd love to try your scents, especially Jet Black Enigma. I also dig Iris, just bought Prada L'Homme and love it. I'm just saying thx for the channel and all the well done research
Gentlemen Boisee is my favorite. Love the powder smell on it. Seems more versatile to me.
I really like the cologne gentleman, clean but still sophisticated such as gentleman should be!
As of how you described iris in this flanker it really comes to my mind how mont-blanc explorer nailed the accord of pineapple without officially having pineapple there
My favorite in the line is definitely EDP Boisèe! The iris is toned down a bit and that added sweetness just makes it delicious
For me Gentleman EDT Intense is my favorite of the pack. I'm still getting into iris based fragrances so this one gives me a nice start of having this style of iris while maintaining other notes that currently appeal to me more. The freshness and woodiness combined together make it even more sophisticated and likeable for me

Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp did a fantastic job with the Gentleman line. My favourite is the eau de parfum, exquisite powdery-vanilla scent. Reserve Privée is my second favourite with that whiskey-chesnut blend. I absolutely adore the entire line, I will get Society as soon as I find it online. Hope to get to smell your fragrances as well, would make a nice addition to my collection. Great content, love the videos, stay safe Ash.
Gentleman Cologne is my favourite of the line. Which is unusual for me as my usual preference is darker, heavier fragrances. It might lack in performance but it is so uplifting with such an addictive opening, love the stuff.

I loved Society and RP the most ... I ultimately went with Soceity flr those amazing fresh floral spicy herbal notes up top... cant get enough of them! Then it dries down to a similar base DNA they all share. Perfection
My favorite is EDT Ipntense, so I am very excited to try this when it hits stores here in Spain!
My favorite Gentleman fragrance is actually Gentlemen Only. I feel like it is the forgotten flanker. I strongly associate fragrances with season and weather, so here in the AZ desert, it strongly reminds me of the summer monsoon season, which is typically the whole month of August. Apart from its scent and initial advertising campaign, even the color of the bottle has a light cloudy feel to it.
I sold mine. Didn’t like it. Dispite the name; but I believe the gentleman Only doesn’t belong to the gentleman line. There are a few flankers in that Only line in curious about thought, but I can’t funds reviews of them.
I am looking forward to this one, just because I love this line so much. Makes sense that they would go in a different direction after releasing 4 iris based frags. Givenchy are obviously doing the same thing Dior did with the Homme line. Whatever, I’m in!

Gentleman EDT is way underrated. I think it’s the standout in the line. Less powdery, more creamy.
And I want those samples.
Reserve Privè is the one i have my eyes on, based on reviews. New and blind bought most of my fragrances based on your reviews and not disappointed yet!
My favourite must be Privée. Classy and mature, but still pretty versatile. Love the Iris
I absolutely love it!! For me it's the best from the Gentleman line. It's different then the other from this line, fresh, more versatile, less sweet and more woody. The dry down is awesome!!

I only have two from the gentleman line and the edp is definitely my favorite. Especially when I mix it with bakhoor. It's so rich and luxurious.
Hi Ash, Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privé is my favorite from the line. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I smelt it.
Gentleman Reserve Privee has been a star for me. The composition includes a few of my favorite accords to wear during the cooler months, so Reserve Privee is definitely my favorite.

Reserve Prive is my fav because of that prominent sweet iris note and the added bozyness from whiskey
This one reminds me of a combination of LNDL and V Yellow Dream. It's got a lot of cardamom spice in the opening and the soft vanilla dry down is the yellow dream part. It's kind of a mid range flanker to be more fresh and less intense on the soft iris or sweetness as others, but to me the vanilla is prominent after a while. I have only tried a few Givenchys this is probably my favorite so far
The only one I have from the Gentleman line is Cologne; which I really like. Was very intrigued by Reserve Privee, but I am trying to downsize so decided that will have to do without it.
Gentleman is one of my favorite lines. Super excited to try this one. Also really need to get my hands on your fragrances Ash love your content.

Thanks Ash!! My favorite gentleman would be the edt intense. It's so fresh and lasts forever on my skin and I can wear it all year around, whereas the others for me are mainly cold weather. Looking forward to picking this one up!
Will be Interested to test this one.. definitely enjoyed the gentleman privee release last year with the whiskey note.. Boisée was something very different for my collection to add.

I really like the O.G. gentlemen EDT. My wife bought it for me years ago and I really love wearing it in formal situations.
I have Boisee and Reserve Privee. While I love the smell of Privee, I struggle to find occasions to wear it, as it's a bit too sensual for my typical daily routine, and the lipsticky iris makes me reach for something a little more traditionally masculine when a special occasion comes up. I find myself wearing Boisee a lot more, as the iris is tamed by the pepper and woods, making it much easier to pull off in most situations. I've also gotten complimented wearing the Boisee, whereas crickets with the Privee.
Givenchy Gentlemen reserve prive is my favourite from the line. Projects well and lasts long plus all that booziness.

My favorite is Givenchy Boisee for some reason its last 8+ and projection is way above average! My wife loves it and some of my coworkers as well, i sample this one and man I’ll still buy Boisee im guessing its that Iris note that im sucker for lol also have the intense version but Boisee all the way!
My favourite is the EDP for sure, reserve privee a close second but I just love the creamy iris that is so prominent with the EDP. Can't stop smelling the atomiser when im at home.

Reserve Prive for sure, big fan of iris and I had been struggling to find something with a little more attitude for formal social events. Reserve Prive hits all the itches on that regard.
I tried it and like it a lot. Judge it after its been on your skin for a while. I will definitely be buying a bottle.

Gentleman EDP Reserve Privée - that's the one I prefer and the one I own. Went to Europe set to come back with a bottle of Dior Homme Parfum but couldn't find it. While there I learned about the launch of Reserve Privée, looked up the notes and got really intrigued, thought it could be a worthy purchase. Found it at a great price and am really happy with it!
My favorite is Gentleman EDP with it's powdery vanilla. A close second is Gentleman Cologne with a fresh take on the line.
I picked up a bottle as a blind buy, I can say it's very nice, no notes jumping out at me! It does lack a little character but a very inoffensive enjoyable scent. Closest thing I can compare it to is Code Parfum, different scents but there's similarities....
So I popped into a macys today to pick this up and I also decided to browse around and see what other new colognes dropped and the sales associate happened to slip up and tell me that they’re getting a new fragrance from viktor&rolf specifically for the spice bomb line. Don’t know how legit that might be but I wouldn’t doubt it since most designers are coming out with new releases.
I just have to say, Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privé is my absolute favourite fragrance! The woody notes mixed with iris, whiskey, and amber create such a warm and inviting scent that makes me feel confident and masculine. The powdery violet and nutty undertones add a touch of elegance and sophistication, making it the perfect fragrance for any occasion.

Nice review. Your previous reviews on the gentleman line are the reason I have gone out to smell them all. Boisee is probably my favorite (Privee comes close) but so far I only own Gentleman Only.
My favourite fragrance in the Gentleman line would be the Reserve Privee. All because of the booziness, nuttiness, richness, and the quality itself, which is incredible.
Gentleman Eau de Parfum Reserve Privée is my fav, love the whiskey note and the whole line is great!

Hi Friend, my choice would be Givenchy cologne for summer and then maybe a reserve privèe fior winter and lastly Givenchy EDP BOISEE.

My favorite of the Givenchy line has to he Reserve Prive because of how sophisticated it smells, simply amazing.

I don't have all of the gentlemen fragrances, nor have I smelled them all.
Everytime I went to smell them, either the place didn't have it or I got steered towards something else.

Have both Boisee and Reserve Privee. Both are great but I just love the booziness of the Reserve Privee and the amber dry down.
I'd have to go with Reserve Privée for my choice. I like the way the whisky note works with the rest of it.
i dont have any Givenchy Gentleman yet, but i would really like to try Gentleman EDP Boisee, keep up the great videos Ash!!!
