- Today, Harj comes to the Regal Gentleman Studio to get a short choppy men's haircut. He wanted a "grown out shaved head look" on top with a low skin fade into high 0.5 on the back and sides.

The term ‘GOAT’ is used too much for my liking (especially football) but I genuinely think Dan is the best I’ve ever witnessed. Not seen him unable to answer a client question. Hammers them with soo much great knowledge and nails each video. ❤❤

That fade looks quality, I don't think I've seen anyone else come straight off the head rather than a C motion with the clippers, I'll have to try it.
I trained as a hairdresser back in the early 2000's, since 2005 I've only cut a few friends and my own hair.
Straight off the head makes an incredible difference, sometimes you can even skip a few guards once you get used to it

5:50 I have very similar hair and run into the same problem. Almost like a tennis ball and the length is uneven because its round so barbers or stylist cut it or "thin it" well now the length cannot grow right. Thank you for find a model with different hair and not too long of growth on the sides while still trying to grow it out on top

Every Barber in the UK who costs less than about £25 for a cut, should watch this video! In particular the part about "texturizing/thinning scissors" It seems the art of a point cut has long since departed these shores in favour of randomly hacking/tearing hair out in search of "texture"
I genuinely think the vast majority of barbers on your average high street are sub standard and lack the skillset to do high quality work! But every now and then you do strike gold!
And then within 6 months they've left that establishment, and you never find them again! 🤣🤣
