Idir's thoughtful girlfriend brought him to get a haircut and he was already kinda rocking the look many who sat on that chair were hoping Dan would give them lol, with his strong Timothee Chalamet vibes wanting to shave his head, she made the right call 👍
As a curly I understand him. I kept my hair really short for years until I met a hairdresser that understands curly hair. Dan is doing exactly what needs to be done. I hope he likes his hairstyle. He has lovely hair. Great job and advice Dan

I've got wavy/curly hair like this. Very similar to his. I've kept my hair very short for a long time too but this style makes me wonder if I might not go longer on it

This is the kind of hair I want!!! I'm Filipino, but unlike most Asian hair, I don't have straight and no volume hair. I have very loose waves full volume hair. I want this loose curls!

My dh (dear husband of over 48yrs) is 73, has curly WHITE thick hair, and I have learned to cut it (from watching youtube). He gets all kinds of complements :). I'd like to go to barber school, but I'm quite busy.

This video made me happy. It's the first time I've seen someone online, or even at a salon, give the correct method for washing and conditioning hair. I've tried to tell my friends and family for the past 3 decades how to do this one simple self grooming technique (I've been a cosmetologist for 32 years). Oh the times I'd hear "I don't have time for that.", makes me cringe. And coming from people telling me my hair is the softest or nicest they've ever seen..."Well then do what I do." I explain, but nope, "Ah that's too much work."...haha

I am a woman and I use these same principles to cut my own hair. Dan keeps reinforcing the importance of connection to create flow, and he is right. My hair is just wavy, and when I go to my friend for a cut, he pulls out those thinning shears. I need him to cut the back of my head, and last time, I told him not to use them. Instead, he used the blade of his scissors running up the lock of hair he held to do the very same thing! I am sending him this video so that he can see how Dan uses his twist method, instead. Thanks, Dan!
