Hey hey hey Stan, how have things been going, it’s been nothing but non stop grinding here with the lawns, everything has come together lovely, the equipment is holding strong and working well, I am very happy with how it has all gone, I hope you have been well too, this week was a very interesting week to say the least, to start, everyone talked about that submarine that as we all know, eventually came to the loss of five lives, very sad, part of me would have never let them go but at the same time we had no control over it. But Stan, the summer has started off very well, I’m happy with how everything has gone, today we did a bunch of shopping since it rained today, can’t cut wet lawns, so shopping and then for dinner tonight we’re having the homemade tacos, and sweet Mexican corn cake, we’ll Stan, it was a pleasure getting to type this comment for you c have a good weekend my friend, and god bless and go get em, your pal and friend Alexander costa
We have rippers for the big excavators and mini excavators. They work good on some rock as well. Rock to hard to dig with a bucket but not hard enough to need the hammer.
Just wondering are those rippers uncommon in USA? Because here in Sweden it’s very common that a excavator have a ripper as a extra attachment to the machine. Great video!
That poor chainsaw blade 🤣 jokes aside that's an awful handy attachment. It would be cool to see a video highlighting your favorite and most useful attachments and pieces of equipment that you've owned over the years. As someone who's starting to consider larger equipment purchases this year, it would be great to get advice on what someone should look for, especially as a start up hardscaping outfit.
That ripper is the best thing going for installing silt fence at the beginning of the jobs as far as frost goes that machine is way too light to rip frost with you are way better off with a hydraulic hammer, thing works awesome for stumps like you experienced as well . Once again I saw a short and had to go to your channel to see if there were any new videos I wonder what'd up with that
Stan cool attachment I personally like to grind the stumps around Philly recycling facilities don’t like any stump larger then 18” but it would be great for rock and concrete removal and demolition
I have had pretty good success using one to cut through turf and lay wire in with minimal damage to the turf. Short distance and need a helper to place the wire as you go.
that reminds me of the beak of a Parrot. there should be a tool, that could mimic that force and beak action that such birds often use to "chip" wood. it seems to be quite an efficient means to go through it. i can imagine a type of splitter that used such a geometry for just such a purpose.
Good pick up with the initial chainsaw danger. The second I saw him move in I was screaming into my phone. Both operators "should" be wearing PPE, like chainsaw chaps. But I don't tell on you if you don't tell on me. But cutting into something that's under pressure is very risky. Sometimes it has to be done, but as the sales rep who took over the saw did in the end, you can always try cutting it from the side that's not likely to be where you get hit by a huge lump of wood under tension.
Thank you so much for listening and not using the large subtitles!! Appreciate it, and I'm sure others do to. 😁👍✌️
yep- they are going away.
Agreed!
Fun to watch you introduce us to new equipment. Even more fun watching you, with your experience, make it look easy.
Thank you sir!
I love it when you ask a salesman if it’ll do something and they essentially say “hold my beer, we fixin to find out”
Thats my kind of salesman
Love the equipment videos and breakdowns like this!
Well done Stan
Thanks for watching
I’ve got the same exact machine with the exact same ripper and I couldn’t live without out ...........worth it’s weight in gold!

Hows your weather? We have had nothing but a drought here in Minnesota. Grass is dying here
@@Dirtmonkey well we had two weeks worth of hot temps and no rain and then all of a sudden it opened up and had nothing but rain
That pared with the thumb is the beak but for excavators. Loved to see the new tools Stan!
Right on
We have rippers for the big excavators and mini excavators. They work good on some rock as well. Rock to hard to dig with a bucket but not hard enough to need the hammer.
That makes sense

They aren't common around here. We have them but its not a go to tool
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
Thank you for getting rid of subtitles! Much appreciated. The ripper seems very effective especially used in conjunction with the thumb.
Stan, every time I watch an excavator the theme song from "Jurassic Park" plays in my head. With this attachment, it really happens! LOL
😀😂
Stan, I think you're hooked on that new tool for the machine.
yep- its gonna get a lot of use
What grade of steel is that made of? How much does it weigh?
I don't know
That’s pretty nice little set up there , made that job look ez
It sure did.

Noted!
Noting worse or more frustrating than watching someone on a dull saw. Haha, great video
You got that right!
I could cause alot of damage with something like this! 😈 Wish you a wonderful weekend! Keep up the wonderful work!
You have an awesome weekend as well!

Heck yeah!!! Very nice attachment
Very handy for sure

BIG stumps aren't much appreciated anywhere around here either

Ripping good video. Thanks 😊.
Thanks 👍
letsdig18 has had stuff like this for a few years. hes got a custom one forna volvo 250.
Freaking awesome machine
😎👍
I’m impressed with “the little excavator that could.” That chainsaw was pathetic though. Sharpen that chain.
How many did you get for your mini excavator
3 new attachments
@@Dirtmonkey 😎
I have a ripper tooth for my Cat 305 and it’s my favorite attachment I own
Time to sharpen that chainsaw…
sure is

Their is an attachment called the "beak". Its designed to grab and handle concrete
The attachment looks great! Dirt Monkey, get that saw sharpened!
you know it!
Good pick up with the initial chainsaw danger.

yep- good call for sure,
Man that chainsaw blade is shot
7:10 just safed an idiots life there 🙈
I'm sure that's also good for ripping out utilities and water pipes under Underground.
I have their ripper also, I have an KX040-4. I'm next level with Mongo Attachments ripper, Aka "Scott the stump ripper"
you like it then?
I run that exact ripper in a cat 305.5e2cr. Mongo makes decent stuff
here to help
Thank you sir!
Another root ball from a excavator boy that nobody wants to deal with
yep- root balls suck
Good tool
