This was one of the first few Final Fantasy games I played, I remember sitting with my dad watching him play other FF games, oh how the time goes by
This was my first final fantasy game I ever played. Absolute 10/10 masterpiece and now I'm hooked on the entire series!
I am jealous of you.
You should go back and play the original. FFVII, FFIX, and FFX especially are still all absolutely amazing.

Same here it’s a really good opening to an incredible game we all know and love ❤️ and they made it sound even better with the PS5 version yeah it’s a bit different from the PS4 opening movie in FF7 remake I think it’s the orchestra playing in FF7 Remake intergrade for the opening movie
I loved the vibes this opening scene gave. Starts of with a very dystopian feel but then explores than even within the dystopia, there is life and a great story is about to unfold. I just knew the story was going to be a fun ride from there.
An absolute triumph of a game. Added to and expanded on everything I could have wanted, and yet didn't feel constrained by the original. So, so good.
Interestingly, the most recent patch changed this rendition of Midgar ~ City of Mako back to its PS4 version (aka the one where the music syncs with the logo reveal).
I came to this video to check this. Just replayed the opening after the recent patch and thought i was going crazy! Thank god they changed it back it annoyed me so much that the logo didn’t sync up

It always bugged my that the Intergrade version’s music is out of sync with the title drop. The release version was perfect why change it?

The lyrics here in the intro seemed changed in intergrade than in the PS4 version or is it just me??
There seem to be multiple audio changes from the original PS4 release and I don’t see why they were “needed.” I would argue the changes don’t seem to be improving anything.

3:37 They kinda fucked up the Sync of the music here. Still getting goosebumps but I just wanted to point it out. 3:11 That small thing in the Background really sounds like the Original PS1 version tho. To me it sounds mysterious.

They redid the music for Intergrade... but they didn't use it for the PC version. It's only on the PS5 version for... some reason.
The only version on PC is Intergrade...
Why lyrics are not the same ?
I wonder why they changed the vocals throughout the intro. It's technically the same tune, but alot less overt as the PS4 version
Should've kept the "estuans interis" chants in there. Also the meteor logo doesn't come down in time with the orchestra, it hits just a little before.
Integrade is fantastic, but these two small things have always bugged me.
Same here. This opening is better in PS4 and PC versions. The new version of opening theme has slightly slower tempo, that's where they messed up. They probably noticed it too late and didn't have time to re-record the music or the composer was busy at the time. Shit happens 🤷♂

hmm this sounds a bit different than the original but I feel like they stayed true to the original in more way or another... very cool!
Still not a fan of the music change....it doesnt have the same oomph that the vanilla version had(especially the logo splash) and the vocals are weaker
I would love the reasoning behind it but I dont think that will happen.

The song has altered lyrics and some differences compared to the intro in the PS4 version
It’s honestly not that bad imo yeah it’s not really synced up when the logo comes in the intro but other than that it sounds fine imo

Intergrade is the updated/directors cut of Remake for PS5. Graphics and textures upscaled, slight gameplay and balance tweaks, minor changes to some cutscenes, a new secret boss fight, and a new story DLC section where you play as Yuffie. Only available on PS5 and PC whereas Remake is the vanilla PS4 version. Hope this helps.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the game to actually WORK? Every time I start playing as soon as the first battles start, the game crashes. I have owned the PS5 version for over a year now and I have yet to even make past the first chapter cuz I can't play the game for more than 2 minutes before it crashes. Anyone?

It might be an issue with your console. Do you own the physical copy or digital? Did you get it free with PS plus last year? And is your console up to date?
@@greenliongirl07 everything is up to date and I own both physical and digital copies. They both give me the same problem. Game crashes after 2 minutes

I swear to god. Square has to start uploading stuff in 4K. FF7 rebirth looks awful with the 1080p compressed trailer quality. FF16 trailer just looks far more clean just because it was released by PlayStation.
FF7 Rebirth blew away FF16, nobody cares about any compressing.. it was epic
@@michaeledwards1644 nah, even THE ff7 guy maximilian dood said the trailer's quality is ass. And it is. 4K quality is far better even for 1080p displays. It clears up alot of compression and you can see the sharpness of the entire game.

I have high hopes for Rebirth, but I have a feeling that Remake's already painfully average battle system is going to be especially weak after FFXVI. Big mistake not fully embracing the action side of action RPG, and an even bigger mistake leaving ATB in the first place. I've played the original FFVII three times since Remake came out, and it still plays leagues better than Remake.
I loved Remake's battle system. To me it's a great mix of Tactical and Action based combat. Going into a full storm of spells, bullets and melee combat, then opening the command menu and the whole scene goes into slow-motion is so cool. How is it painfully average?

There a reason they add ATB since you have to use it carefully since enemies will stop you and powerful skill from materials will cast longer depend on materials level

Limit by set a cooldown is not a great idea tho, and you dont see MP ?? In original, limit is basically no MP cost and you can use right always when it available,since it way powerful so in Remake they adjustment basic skill by use ATB and balance it so it's not be broken
MP is also less than original, you cant just go up level, you MP also depend on weapon skill tree and MP materials,spam 3-4 lv3 you will out MP in no time
@@igm1571 You missed my point. MP is a great, classic method of limiting you from using powerful spells and abilities every turn. It could easily be used to the same thing in a system like Remake uses. That’s no defense for a subpar system.
