Cloud is being forced to dance against his will and I absolutely love it. The absolute pain and embarrassment that comes afterwards is so funny.
Funny, I have no doubt you'd be saying the exact opposite of Tifa or Aerith was forced to dance against their will and humiliate themselves, made worse if Cloud was enthusiastically cheering them on and getting excited watching it. But I suppose things are only bad when they happen to the good gender, not the bad one.

I was thinking something like the dating segment to involve cloud saying something swave like "what do you say tifa wanna embarrass yourself with me on the dance floor? But with Andrea around who knows maybe the whole party will see cloud embarrass himself.

the remake has done a solid job showing despite clouds nigh tism levels of stoicism and just social awkwardness he still has a personality somewhere under all the shit thats happened to him and can be more then some stone faced oblivious plot point
only thing that would of made this better is cloud having some more range of emotion to his face as the scene went on showing him getting into it and loosening up or if you were doing prompts badly frustration maybe

I still feel like there was a missed opportunity there. Just imagine, during the parts where it just clips in the audience's reactions, we see Sephiroth just in the background watching Cloud dance. I would've loved seeing that

Funny how Square-Enix's vaunted "ethics department" didn't seem to have any problem with this, both because of the fetishization of Cloud and whoever this bald twink is, and how impractical it is for a trained soldier to know how to dance like mincing pop tart, but the idea that a woman might have larger than normal breasts was too much and too unrealistic for them. Seems like such objections only go one way. If it appeals to straight men, it's evil and horrible and misogynistic. If it appeals to women (and gay men), then it's totally cool.
Ironically, objective of women with excessively large breasts and skinny body always only for sexualization (no matter it’s fictional character or real women with plastic surgery)
Idk how you interpret this into fetish. Andrea dressed Cloud into woman because Cloud must do it in order to get into audition. Because he pleased with the result that didn’t mean he wanna sexualize him.
Talking about unreal, trained soldier who can dance is more realistic than martial artist who unable to jump of the train. Fan service is fine within limit, no need to beg more.
@@user-ew6yu5yh6z I'm talking about the scene itself. No doubt, watching those two dance around in a more...feminine way together like that was pleasing to the eye of female fans. I don't have a problem with that, generally speaking. What I have a problem with is Square Enix, who put that specifically in the game to titillate SOME members of their audience, which added sexualization of Cloud and that Andrea, but then removed sexualization from Tifa, which would have titillate OTHER members of the audience.
As for why I think it's silly for Cloud to dance like that: I'm not saying someone trained to fight can't dance, but rather someone super-serious, who focuses on his training and mission, who is trying to present himself as the ultimate soldier wouldn't go out of his way to learn to dance like that.
