You mentioned most of the main places we drop off cards/folders to. But, here are a few more: churches, college universities, and hospitals (can be HUGE clients), movie theaters (with COVID, that's a bit dead), warehouse managers (pallet pickups are pretty good for us), and neighborhood groups or HOAs. You guys are great and great energy. I have my first junk removal job this weekend and I'm renting a utility. Just working my way up until I can buy one. Thank you Matt and Jojo you guys have a great channel.

Ads on FB Marketplace, FB Ads, Hometown local, Craigslist and just got a website. Now time to learn SEO. I have had ZERO calls. I will be trying your advice. Thank y’all. Oh and a HUGE congratulations for your sobriety, 15 years strong and sober here.
Hello guys, you are a inspirations for all of us. I am a dump truck driver, I drive the three axle KW t-880 for a company that don't pay me much. so I am going to buy a pick up truck and start my own thing. I did scrap before but metal got so low that you don't see much guys doing that anymore, at least here in Maryland. God bless you guys there is no price for what you guys do for other people. Hi Matt and JoJo. I moved from the L.A. area to Spokane, Washington. I just started my hauling business. I did a Yard cleanout in Long Beach, before moving up here. Impasses out flyers in Long Beach for about a week. The responses were good. However, I had to move quickly to Spokane for personal reasons. I did have time to work the free platforms on the net. The market is depressing up here. I passed out flyers (among other things) nailed up signs. etc. I have noticed that the market up here isn't as good as Los Angeles. Can I still do well up here or do I go get a lousy job at a Home Depot type place. Matt and JoJo you inspired me. Any tips? Will I starve to death in the winter up in the great white north of Spokane? Staying with mom now helps. One last thing. I have been hyper focusing on residential clients. Also, should I market my efforts towards wealthy people or more middle class types. A friend of mine says that wealthy people "are too cheap, usually" I would like some feedback, thanks.
Hi, thanks for the comment, you may have to start this as a side hustle until you grow your clients....you will also have the winter to work through....continue to advertise just like you did in your old city. I would target everyone...rich, middle class, residential and commercial....

Saving up money for dump trailers so I can start renting those out too. Going to be hard to keep up with landscaping, junk removal and dump trailer rentals this upcoming spring.
Idea from future videos: - What tools do you bring to the jobs? - Do you bring a rechargeable Sawzall? If so, do you use an inverter to keep it charged in the truck? - Also, do you make customerservice pay up front, or after you get your weight at the dump? - How do you advertise? - What invoicing or accounting type apps do you use? - How do customers pay you, and when? - Do you have an accountant that can write off all your income as depreciation to keep your taxes low?
