Fariduddin Ayaz and Abu Mohammad are acclaimed qawwals from Karachi, Pakistan and belong to the 700-year-old 'Qawwal Bachchon Ka Gharana' of Delhi. Their main guru has been their father, the legendary qawwal Munshi Raziuddin Ahmed Khan. They sing in Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, Pushto, Hindi, Poorbi, Persian, Arabic and Turkish, intermingling with aplomb the voice of Kabir with a range of Sufi poets including Jalaluddin Rumi, Sachal Sarmast, Zaheen Shah and others. Wordly Translation:
On learning the amazing Saga of love, neither the Frenzy (Junoon) was left, nor did the sweetheart remain. I was "me no more, you were "thee" no more; only a state of oblivion remained.
Hidden Meanings:
The consciousness of self is obstructive and it is only the removal of Knowledge and Thoughts that leads to the state of self- unconsciousness where the lover and the beloved become one.
As like the Room said;
I always thought that
I was "me" - but no, I was "You"
and never knew it.

Recitals transcend you to a different level. Pure Gold. I wish people of subcontinent realise what's there heritage. By fighting among ourselves we are doing great disservice to Kabir Das and Amir Khushro.
Not only brahmins but all who traded religion for there sake make people fight among themselves. True spirituality transcends all barriers of caste, creed, religion and sex. Kabir Das, Amir Khushro, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo Ghosh were true spiritualists. There guidance is like a practical manual for anyone interested.
