Thanks for the video! Did you consider the 39 mm before buying the 42? I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist and am trying to decide between the two.

Yes i did..it depends upon what wrist profile one likes. For my 7 1/4 inch wrist i found it to be filling the entire wrist because of relatively long male endlings. However, if you like more composed proportionate type 39 may be a fit. Also i feel an aviation watch should be large, clear and i am absolutely ok with upto 45mm. I feel 38/39 size wise goes into the field watch side, so wanted it to be distinct. The choice is yours. Suggest you try both and then make a choice, it is always advisable.
