HAHA I actually find eye tests these days are all using machines, I don’t get those good old fashioned analogue tingles

@@JamesMatthewASMR for my first glasses I got a real old style test like this one and also the different lenses....no machines at all. (Small town in germany)

I think so, which implies there was an audio glitch and he rerecorded the lines which is some dedication.

Very realistic and relaxing at the same time. ☺️ Actually went to an optician yesterday for an eye exam, and he was very soft spoken, the lights and the exam was quite tingly and he even nailed the keyboard sounds. Very relaxing. However he lacked your charm and good looks! 😅 He was more like a bald man with a huge beer belly in his 60’s! 😂🙈

I'm always torn with these kind of asmr videos, on the one hand he does know how to make a good relaxing video, on the other, working at an opticians makes it very hard to not pick holes in things 😂
At least he was successful in making me sleepy!
It depends really, some videos I’ll do hours of research and scripting - and some I’ll purely start with “what triggers do I want and is this relaxing?” And this is the latter kind.
I mean, I’ll always want the tone to be moderately realistic but at the same time I’m also aware there’s a suspension of disbelief because people are here to sleep and not actually have their eyes tested 😂😴

id have loved to read out those letters if the camera was focused on them :-)
If you were my real optician I’d be soooo uncomfortable not trying to be mean but on a general base just don’t deal well with way too attractive people in a proffessional setting😂
I even changed dentists once because of this reason (very happy with my plain, run of the mill looking family man in his 50’s now) I know it’s not fair, born attractive people can’t help what they look like but it is what it is 😆😬
I feel, had a very attractive therapist once. Wasn't working out 🤣
