Yes please. You can go through a customary marriage and even get a certificate without any court processes.
And the court can still preside over matters concerning such marriages.

If you have done court registration then you don't need to register the customary marriage.

But yes, you can do customary marriage and later do ordinance marriage.

You can register the customary marriage and get a certificate for customary marriage.
But you cannot convert the customary marriage to civil marriage (ordinance) without your presence in Ghana.

It's called marriage by proxy. It is very possible.
But that marriage will only be customary marriage, not civil or ordinance
