Someone who does not have the means to afford lawyer.
The officers at Legal Aid will also check the merit of the case

A lawyer who does it for less, is only considering you.
Some lawyers may be kind to take less.

Serve them with the dicorce petition/ documents? It depends on how early you direct the bailiff to the other person's address. It can even be done the same day. You have to pay the bailiff's transport as well.

What does the law says about that?
There is no specific rule on that.
But it is advisable to inform your spouse of your whereabouts so they do not report to the police of your absence.
What if the family of the lady, asks her to leave the matrimonial home after a fight, what does the law also say on that please ?

You can decide not to take anything. The court can also by it own wsidom give you something. But you can decide whether to enforce the court's decision or not.
