- This is Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back for the Nintendo Gameboy. This is a speed run of the game in 27:42. This is my current PB and WR (As of August 19th, 2014.)

I don't think I ever even beat the first level of this.
I was very young, probably didn't know how to save, or find the lightsaber
I was watching Jontron, and he played a console version of this game, it gave me a weird feeling which I had felt before, so I remembered this game
Looking back on this game I now believe it to be a screening test for early signs of masochism.
Couldn't get past Dagobah. Love how you duck in time with the music when you have to wait for/are on a moving platform!
I love how the GB version was just a slightly scaled and slowed down take on the NES version.
I first played this in the Canary Islands when I got my first gameboy, it was part of a "42 in 1" game card (though most of the selections just led to one of the first games on the list) but anyway, I could never get past the wampa.
Same thing. Man those collections were classics. Too bad there were always those few games that didn't work or keep saves.
The was more to this game then just 3 levels. Wow I sucked
I watched this specifically for that one part on Dagobah which I could never get past. The big jump always killed me.
Played this for unspeakable hours as a kid and only made it off Hoth like 3-4 times. Amazing to see it beaten.
And here we see one of the first games I ever played getting its ass KICKED!
I remember it like yesterday. When I was kid my father get that to me from US after he finished working there!
I can't remember if I beat this, or only got as far as the last Vader fight and died. Oh well. Great to see the ending and someone actually beat it!

Insane. I cannot believe someone actually beat Empire for DMG. It took me ages of save-states to beat the NES version....this video is the shit

In my opinion, this game was good. I''d say it's better than the NES version.
I like the slower pace in this game compared to NES.
Damn I was like 6 or 7 when this came out. I could get past the first part of the game.

So Capcom has released games based on Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm franchises. Disney owns Marvel and Lucasfilm. Imagine if they had bought Capcom too.

glad they finished this on Gameboy. NES they meshed empire and jedi together because they were discontinuing the console.

Why the Hell do you *PURPOSELY* dwindle your health to 1 hit in the freaking T-47 Snowspeeder?!?!? You remind me of my idiot brother; Forcing me to play football video games I hated, wasting all his Timeouts and begging me to do the same!!!
You only have so many tow cables to kill the ATATs, so once you're empty you just need to exit the Snowspeeder to kill the others with Luke's lightsaber.
