Yes Exo supremacy at it's best. What I love most about Exo, is their ability to adapt to every genre and sound. Their music was and never is 1 track minded if that makes sense.
This song packs the feels and the vocals Amazing, but Promise is the one song that has it all and brings me to tears everytime with their vocals and the emotion they put into that song. You have got to listen to that one and soon if you haven't yet.

Though, as usual, Kris and Tao got no lines and no camera focus. That was a really big problem in the early days, because the Korean versions were performed live much more often than the Chinese versions and the two of them didn't do a lot of singing at the time. There just aren't enough rap lines in EXO's songs to accommodate five main rappers, so the Korean rappers generally got precedence. It got a little better later on, but by that point members were starting to leave, so we never really got to see truly fair line distribution amongst all 12 members.

this black pearl performance is so good, but I'd definitely recommend EXO's performance at MAMA 2014 instead where they did this song (still live) with another song "Tell Me What Is Love." that stage was a whole other level FOR SURE!

The live version you watched included all original 12 members, where as the lyric video was just the 6 EXO-K members~ So, some of the big moments towards the end in the live version were actually EXO-M members, particularly Chen; which is why it might've had a different flavor/sound to you in the live version^.^

Black Pearl is soo good. I know I say that every time you react to an exo song, but there is literally not a song that I don't like. I love them all. I am looking forward to the next one, cuz to be totes honest, Don't Go is in my top ten fave. Its so good and people have told me they don't like EXO's earlier stuff as much cuz it was too poppy, I say, you don't know what you're missing. I think Don't Go is beautiful. I'm curious to see which live you go with, cuz I do have a fav live too.
