WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

One of my favorite MAMA shows. Chanyeol was sick that day, and the camera barely captures him (he looked really pale). That was Kyungsoo’s legendary stage ♥️. Also, the idols captured by the candid camera are Ailee, Ikon, and IU. Queen IU was singing along with them during Overdose. Back then, it was all about friendship and mutual admiration for most idols. I miss those times.

I just remember that Chanyeol actually fell ill during this performance that in between the member switch in the 2nd verse he almost pass out. They let him have some oxygen because he is out of breath. even before this perf he was not feeling well.
I love this performance 💕 where kyungsoo stand out as the main vocal, others is his back dancers & backing vocal, once in a life time performance so far

Fyi, chanyeol was sick here. Fan took a video of him that almost threw up in the backstage but he was so professional so he could finish the performance. Even after performance, he dropped himself on the stage and then stood up again 😭
