To anyone struggling with super fine gold like the fly poop I get here in the Pac NW; If you are hand panning and just have some specks that are being difficult, the best way to pick up those stragglers is with your fingerprints...yup! Dry finger, wet gold, and then scrape the gold off on a well seasoned gold pan that is dry to finish drying. If you have one, a miller table is much more efficient though.

Chris, have you or anyone ever tried running your material through a Gold Drop machine?? Might try asking Dan Hurd to give it a try, if not....be interesting to see how it would deal with the tin.

Have you considered preweighing your gold into like, small screwtop vials, so you can just dump them into your bags as you go? That way you can spend one work period just measuring out gold, then one filling bags. Its more efficient.

Get some stamp tweezers; theyve a wide end and makes grabbing paper and plastic much easier.
