Omg I remembered getting this for my 7th birthday from my parents and I freaking loved this toy. I remember bringing it to school for show and tell cause I just had to share it with my friends! man this video makes me wanna go pick one up again :)

Nice review of an iconic (and perhaps forgotten) vehicle. Totally agree, the yellow stickers would of looked terrible! The basic mold for this actually looks like a really nice toy!

ah batman beyond! good memories of that! its not often i enjoy a spin off as much as the original. I have to admit "Return Of The Joker" was amazing. at 24 years old, id enjoy that today :D

I had this thing as a kid and I loved it. I still loved it even when I broke the front fin piece but I just used that as a escape ship

I got one for Christmas when I was 9 years old, but one of the wings had a defect in it when I was trying to put it together. I recently ordered one about 2 years ago and have it displayed in my man cave. I left the stickers off as well because like you I am a purist when it comes to toys.
I had this and the 3 in 1 Batman Forever batmobile. I picked up a Batman Begins batmobile the other day for craps and giggles.. think I may go back and get those as well. I miss this thing
But Batman Beyond was a good show! Why in the world did they cancel it?

Yeah, I used to watch that all the time too.
Bruce Timm said it was because the toys didn't sell, and complained that they didn't make a black Batman and that might have had something to do with it. They did eventually release a black one, but it took too long. Sorry for the 4 year later reply.
I remember hearing in the commentary of either a return of the joker dvd or the show, that they canceled it because they ran out of ideas, so they just let it die.
Such an underrated Batmobile design. The only other Batman beyond Batmobile I could find was the eaglemos one. Wish toy companies would give the beyond Batmobile some love too. Would love to see what Jada toys could do with it

Growing up, I never had the chance to get the batmobiles for this or the Batman: TAS line, so it's neat to see what they looked like now! Thanks! I can relate to you being a sticker purist. With vehicles for other toys (like GI Joe & Stars Wars) that I collect, I tend to be picky with the sticker application too. It's nice to see I'm not the only one!
I just found this video in 2019! I never saw this toy at stores where I lived. I've got to say this is a beautiful batmobile. I like the hot toys batmobiles I just wish they would of made one by hot toys

Man, I agonized over buying this vehicle, but never did because of all that yellow on the package. Had I known it was optional stickers, I totally would have bought it!

Interestingly, the Batman Beyond Batmobile never needed a flight mode, as it was capable of regular flight without changing.
Great toy spot! Actually it's quite easy to get it just a bit more show accurate by just putting some sculpting putty into the screw holes and painting the foggy plastic black . . It didn't have a windshield in the show
the should have done the yellow the red technology thing that the inside had. in the show.

I'm with you Spot, if detail wasn't on the show I don't put the sticker on the toy.
Tilt it to where u can't see the bottom only the top to where it will be sitting on its side deploy the wings not the red ones just the black back ones and if u look the wings the very back and the cockpit make a bat symbol
And Batman Beyond does still come on the HUB

You are probably the first person to post a favorable review of this. It's a decent vehicle the ground mode is blocky in some areas to support the wings in flight mode but displays well. The flaws in it's gimmick really do drag it down. Of all the ones I've seen, every one of those have the front right fender stick while attempting to transforming it. The cheap plastic will snap if you force it, the rear wings are so heavy the clips holding it wear down easily and the wings fall down repeatedly.

One of my favorite cartoons. I hat when toy's aren't true to the show! The "ground mode" was the only look they had in the show. It's a bummer they went with the ol' "street to air" gimmick.
hmm, don't really know the series, but to me it feels it lacks a batman symbol, then again not all batmobiles have that either.

Just like marvel legends, there would be a lot of re use and you have to fund some figures just like Galactus
I wonder if someone 3d prints the same disc sizes in metal and load them instead of plastic ones....dammm those discs will go at twice the momentum of plastic ones..
Also this model could use a more detailed and perfected matte black colour.
