WOW!!! That was a GREAT Gaston. He was perfectly arrogant and he can sing! "Me" is on of my favorite songs and so far the best Gaston I've seen on TH-cam. Good job!
Oh MAN! That was good. I must say I love how he effortlessly caught her every time she went a different directin...all I can say is that I know it took tons of rehearsal time to get that down! Good job.

Gaston's performance was fantastic, but what really sends this performance over the top is Belle's reactions. I've seen this song done with Gaston being fabulous and a Belle who had no clue what to do, this was a perfect performance by both performers! Bravo!

Both of these actors are absolutely terrific! I"m trying out for Gaston in a few days, and this definitely gave me a few ideas to play around with that isn't just mimicking the movie! Thanks :D

It was for fun at a community theatre, not my profession. Thanks for the comment though! On another note, critcism for you provided you read this again: Why would you do this song for an audition? There have got to be thousands of better songs to show off your vocal range and acting abilities. Of course, if "Me" is the best you can do - I suggest looking into another profession.

The reason why they copied all the original choreography is because they were one of the first community theatres to get the rights from Disney to do this show. Disney officials actually came and watched the show and made sure the cast did everything the right way. My cousin was Belle in this video and she told us everything about being in Beauty and the Beast.

He's not horrible, but he's just doing the version of Gaston that is WAAAAAAAY campy. The way they do it on Broadway. His voice is a little froggy, but I love his command of the movement; even if most of it is not original. Not bad. Looks like it was a cute show.
