Thank you for the information! Appreciate it... What kind of scale is that? that looks cool and looks easy to use not having to bend over and move bowls around to be able to see the display read out. great idea!
How to substitute cocoa butter where butter(regular) is said in biscuits, cake etc???? Also is the chocolaty taste very strong? For example will it work in Pineapple cake? I love the video by the way, I subscribed even though I don't make cake that often but this resource is excellent
I’m sorry, I’ve never worked with ABC icing or any other icing that require vegan butter or shortening from a store. I do everything from scratch. But you can definitely try and see the result.
It's better to use coconut oil (not coconut butter). It's a healthy choice for frying because over 90% of the fatty acids in coconut oil are saturated and making it resistant to heat. It means that trans fats are not created during frying process with coconut oil.
I think I am misunderstanding the video--I thought I heard at 10:45 that coconut oil and coconut butter CANNOT be substituted for each other, but at 15:10, there is an asterisk saying they CAN be substituted...? Could you please clarify? Thank you!
ba11er1na in a second after this I explain that Not always! Not in each recipe! And depends on what texture and flavor/taste you want to receive.. if you’re a beginner in raw cuisine, I do NOT recommend to do any substitutes. But for my students, the situation is more clear because I explain what’s the reason of each ingredient in the recipe and we try different textures and combinations of these ingredients. I have a fundamental online Cake course where we talk about raw desserts during four weeks www.myplantcake.com. So, it’s impossible to explain in one comment how to make subs using these three ingredients. It’s better to use an original recipe ❤️
@@MyPlantCake Hi, I'm sorry, I thought the explanation about "not always" was for coconut oil and cacao (not coconut) butter. Anyway, sounds like the overall theme is that it is not advisable to substitute any of the three ingredients for each other :-) Thank you!
The difference is that cacao butter is unhealthy without any minerals vitamins antioxidants also coconut oil but homemade coconut butter made from fresh or dried coconut shreds is a whole food
You are the best Olga, thanks for all the tips❤🙏🏼☺️
Excellent explanation of the difference between the oil and butter.
Very useful! Thanks! Which one would you use to coat a snack bar? I've used cacao butter and chocolate, but how would it be with coconut butter?
Very informative. Thank you!

Thank you so much 💙
Thank you Kindly
I'm kinda confused, can coconut butter be used for frying like the regular butter made from heavy cream?

Coconut butter seems to burn quicker.

Sure but it will have coconutty flavour......once in a while, a little bit of cacao butter is not bad, surely it's better than refined oils right?
You are such a nice woman for a wife.
