    Well, it took an Ice Age and a half to get here, but the long overdue Top 5 Animals to add to Carnivores: Ice Age video has arrived! I hope you guys enjoy it.
    Also, thank you guys SO much for 1,000 subscribers! That might not be a lot for some TH-camrs, but it’s a huge milestone to me, so thank you guys for being a part of it. Now let’s start the road to 2,000! :)

      I'm so glad that finally made it to 1 thousand! .............but I gotta bring this up. Um....... ya kinda just butchered the pronunciation of YUtyrannus there. It's U-TIE-RAN-US not YAI-U-TIE-RAN-US. Sorry it's just that yutyrannus is one of my favorite dinosaurs and you mispronouncing it kinda annoyed me a little, but still you are a great youtuber and I absolutely love your content and am thrilled to see you at a thousand subs!

      +Liam D If there's one thing you can count on me to do, it's butcher the names of prehistoric animals. Thanks for watching. :)

      Also perhaps in the field of polar dinosaurs (and if tatem just ignored the fifth episode of waling with dinosaurs) perhaps the lealynasaura would be a good fit or maybe the muttaburasaurus or the dwarf allosa.... oh wait. Also for players unlucky enough to stumble into the northern regions waters, koolasuchus.

      Tatem Games should add Megalania.A komodo dragon like creature is located in Australia and its huntable with 120 points.its in intermediate rank.

      maybe also add basilosaur as huntable creature would be cool.its in advanced rank and it unlock 500 points

    I'm a simple modder. I see two of my creations on the cover image, I hit the Like button.
    Great list as always. You've got some fantastic suggestions, it's all thoroughly researched and made to fit well within the established lore, and your artwork just gives it all so much more character. Keep 'em coming!
    I adore your rendition of the Moa as a harmless ambient. A C2 Gallimimus-sized Moa occupying a similar niche would be perfect! Alternatively, the Elephant Bird would be an interesting and fun huntable with a similar build. The Eohippus and Leptictidium would both make great ambients as well, the former in particular would be a worthy successor for the pig.
    Continuing off your discussion on the Elasmotherium, what I'd like to see done with it to differentiate it from the plethora of other herbivores with a rhino-like build would be to give it a slightly more equine design. It is, after all, related to both rhinos and horses, and is even referred to colloquially as the "Giant Unicorn". Making it essentially the middle point between the graceful unicorn of myth and the Woolly Rhino.
    Megalania and Titanoboa, while both Cenozoic, wouldn't really fit the ice age theme, unless they made them exclusive to one bonus map like you said. Though, I'd like to propose a slight alteration: instead of an actual savanna, I'd make that map more like the Eurasian steppes of the Pleistocene. The overall aesthetic would be similar to a savanna in some aspects, with large expanses of grassland, low shrubs and few trees, but with a slightly colder climate and an appropriately higher latitude to fit in with the rest of the Arctic Sector.
    As for what other creatures I'd like to see in Ice Age- well, the ones I've designed! Bias bias- I made them because I wanted to see them in the game, and even now so few of them have been animated. You've covered some of them: the Dodo was intended as a Gallimimus-like ambient to complement the pig (or whatever mammal of similar size replacing it). The Megatherium would have been a possible bear alternative, though I'm not sure it can be implemented in the PC version just yet, it depends on whether there's a speed patch for Ice Age. The Yutyrannus, one of my favorites, would have been a bonus unlockable super predator, perhaps succeeding the Yeti. Entelodon would have replaced the "Wild Boar" (which is really a warthog on steroids). There's also my Aurochs and Synthetoceras, the former of which I'm especially proud of and wanted to see in the game since forever, and the latter which I made at RaptorKlaw's request.
    Whatever Tatem does with these concepts, I hope they'll do a good job at it. Hell, If they wanted to use any of my designs, I'm more than willing to negotiate, though knowing them they'd probably prefer to lease it to some outside contractor who doesn't really care about the canon style.
    Again, great video, and I'm looking forward for your next one.

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I had a feeling you'd like that thumbnail. ;)
      Glad you enjoyed the list! I should probably start relabeling these lists "Top 20s" instead of "Top 5s..."
      Great design choice for the Elasmotherium! Seeing it as a big, armored unicorn would be undoubtedly unique to hunt, and REALLY set it apart from the plethora of rhinoceros-like animals already in the game.
      Of course, I think most of us want to see your creatures added to the games at some point, I know I do! It's a shame nothing's come of them thus far... Maybe Carnivores Ice Age 2 could find a way to implement them?
      Also, really looking forward to your next project! I didn't have time to post on the forum, but the new menu and Trophy Room look great. Every day I get more and more excited for it. If you need a teaser trailer or some coverage for the big debut, I'll be happy to help out!

    The dodo should be a ambient animal, and would spawn in small flocks on islands because the dodo lived on a relatively small island.

      SpinoDragon ProductionsTM I would have to disagree for two reasons. One; being that it would make the Arctic Sector less unique, and two; the terror birds act as the Arctic’s equivalent to their more scaly cousins.

    8:50 in reality, bear dogs were very big and dangerous carnivores, in fact, they were one of the reason the Hyaenadon, and even the Daedodon, went extinct, and could takedown prey even bigger than them

    I remembered that Macrauchenia actually lived during the ice age, and it was also in the "Ice Age" movie franchise. I remember the first movie came out a little over a year after Carnivores Ice Age and I was playing the game around that time. Such nostalgia and good times. I think the game needs more Pleistocene animals to match the ecosystem better with what's already living there.

    I think that the deinotherium would also make a good choice as it's alien-like appearance fits well with the ice age environment.

  • @blastturtle22
    @blastturtle22 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I think you might want to know my list
    5. Argentavis, This large birds would be a pesky animal that would hunt the hunter from above, it is fast but is extremely fragile.
    4. Quinkana, This crocodilian would be a great animal for late game hunting, spawning near water and being a highly hostile creature that can take a few bullets, Kaprosuchus, Saurosuchus or Postosuchus could work as Dinosaur Hunter equivalents.
    3. Carbonemys, Although ARK depicts this animal as a large herbivore, Carbonemys was actually a predatory terrapin like animal, it would be a slower but more powerful version of Quinkana, and it would make for a entertaining hunt.
    2. Ambulocetus, This walking whale is one of the most overlooked of all Cenozoic animals, despite it's fame it has yet to appear in any sort of video game, and I wouldn't mind if Carnivores breaks the mold.
    1. Megatherium, A big, omnivorous sloth that could even surpass the bear in danger level, it would be slow but it could surive entire rounds of bullets before being took down.

    Another fantastic video, I was not expecting this many animals to be suggested by you, but I certainly did like a lot of your suggestions. There were a number of species you suggested that I didn't even recognize, so kudos to doing your Ice Age homework! The Ground Sloth, polar dinosaur (Nanuqsaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus would also work for this), and Thylacoleo are probably my favorite suggestions from you, and Macrauchenia is another one I really liked, I especially liked the first design you put up of it, adding in some elements of camels to it too.
    The Mastodon could make for an interesting alt-Mammoth, perhaps with a different enough colouration and stats to really set it apart. The Short-faced bear is another classic ice-age animal that would be cool, though they would have to REALLY work on the design to make it stand out from the cave bear. If it weren't for the Yeti I would even suggest the Gigantopethicus, though really I think the Yeti is already that. I also liked the mentioning of new ambients, your Moa design is absolutely adorable.

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, friend! Glad you enjoyed (and I WILL be getting back to our email conversation soon!). I feel like these Top 5s are turning into Top 20s, but I just can't help it. xD
      The Mastodon and Short-Faced Bear are great suggestions that I know a lot of people want to see, I just, personally, have no clue how to make them stand out enough from the Mammoth and bear and still look like their respective animals. :/
      Also, glad you liked the Moa design! I had a lot of fun making it. Haha

    • @scorpiopede
      @scorpiopede 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's all good, take all the time you need.
      Here's a question I have to ask. What are some mods for Carnivores Ice Age, in terms of animal reskins or maps, that you would recommend?

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm... The problem with that is there are so few Carnivores: Ice Age mods... Aside from Carnivores Triassic, of course, one of my personal favorites is Carnivores: Modern Days. It's a very old and simple mod, but it's got a lot of character, and I love jumping in and giving it a quick hunt or two every now and again.

    • @scorpiopede
      @scorpiopede 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      But no individual mods like some of the C2 mods you've showcased previously? Would be cool if someone "updated" the Megaloceras model to give it bigger antlers.

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, you mean like individual animal models? Yeah, there are a fair few of those! Although, since the new Carnivores Saga forum recently closed down, I don't know how many of them we have access to anymore... Jurassic Park Hunter 2 has a plethora of modded Ice Age animals. I'll check there and see if there are any to your liking.

      You obviously don't know how carnivores' canon works do you Derlstreeofdem?

    • @robbie4339
      @robbie4339 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it's a canon series so why haven't they added reptilian dinosaurs yet? Because it makes no sense to tatem nor the fandom (some of it, like me) and nor new comers. Realistically why would tatem games add the yutyrannous. It would make no sense. For a modded series, well sure but for an offical game that prides itself in being an accurate ice age hunting experience, I highly doubt it.
      And I freaking hate when people get so worked up about someone making an innocent mistake to then call them ignorant for it, you are the ignorant one you ass hole. You need to get laid dude.

      you my friend know nothing about the carnivores franchise.if it all has to be accurate as you say, there should be 4 sectors.polar sector,cretatitous sector,jurrasic sector and triassic sector.(and dont give me that traissac mod shit,its not cannon)
      so,ITS 100% POSSIBALE FOR YUTUYRANNUS TO LIVE IN THE POLAR SECTOR,BECAUSE IT'S ADAPTED TO LIVE THERE.IT DOESNT HAVE TO LIVE IN THE SAME TIME PERIOD AS THE POLAR SECTORS OTHER RESIDENTS.IF THAT WERE TRUE,CERATOSAURUS STEGOSAURUS AND ALLOSAURUS SHOULD NOT LIVE IN THE CENTRAL SECTOR

    Saurian,you know I think procoptodon ,a large kangaroo that once roamed Australia, would be a cool idea as maybe it could replace megaloceros as a skittish herbivores which travels in large herds and will only attack when cornered and it would either kick the player with its large feet or scratch the player with its hands, knock him down, stomp on him would be cool!Maybe Dakotaraptor could be an egg thief and sinornithosaurus as a vampire bat like creature of medium size and will swoop the player up in its jaws and swallow him whole as the sector's second top predator. Charlicotherium in my opinion is a bit better than megatherium.Maybe tatem might add therizinosaurus as the second top herbivore. Thanks as always it is always interesting to hear from you also which country do you live (just wondering ,maybe we could do a collab and maybe we could help each other's channel grow mine is still in it's developing stage and reaching 10 would be my first milestone,50 the second and many more to come)

    I have ideas that I think should be added.
    For the #4 non/less-threatening herbivore could be an ice age horse species, such as Equus lambei of North America, such as Yukon, and I think adding that with a smaller ambient horse like Eohippus or another ice age species would be a good combo. The Stag-moose might be something unique too.
    Also for modern related animals, maybe a Pronghorn Antelope because of its speed and agility, and I also think the Steppe Bison and other Pleistocene Bison, the Musk Ox, and Saiga Antelope, and Caribou and primitive Grey Wolves that lived farther north before modern species did, would be good too to fit. Artic ground squirrels could be a good ambient critter too.

    Bears and wolves were Ice Age animals, although as for Wild Boar and Pigs, as for the Yeti, I can see why they added that in, even though it mayor may not be real legends suggest it may of been around since the Ice Age, so having these animals in the game makes more since than you think :)

      To quote Kim Possible, so not the drama. You've said it yourself, you've been busy at your university, totally understandable. I do believe we left with these 3 creature suggestions. By the way, would it help make Dynamosaurus distinct from it cousin Tyrannosaurus if it had the ability to shift stances, upright for walking with its tail just off the ground and the usual horizontal stance to the ground for runnin', along with the ability to charge through obstacles like a carnivorous juggernaut (or this other trait overpowerin')?
      Polyonax- A most interesting ceratopsian. It resembles Triceratops in shape and size, with one notable difference- its brow horns are twisted, like that of a unicorn and its frill is lined with small spikes. Second in aggression to Triceratops. Rank: Intermediate; Poor Vision, Average Hearing, Good Smell; Mortal Spots: neck, back, heart, Dangerous if wounded
      Pterosphenus- 16-23 feet long. Always spawns in seawater. Unable to slither onto land. Feeds on sharks, fish, and marine reptiles, but will not pass up a chance to eat you. Making this real life sea serpent even more dangerous is its use of hemotoxic venom, which can kill you in a matter of 30 minutes if you don't leave soon! Rank: Advanced, Good Vision, Poor Hearing, Excellent Smell;; Mortal Spots: Head, neck, back; Extremely dangerous!
      Palaeophis- 24-33 feet long. A large aquatic snake. There is little chance of mistaking this aquatic reptile for anything else due to its paddle-like tail and its vestigial hind legs. Always spawns in estuaries, coastal waters and rivers. Kills you by wrapping its coils around your rib-cage to suffocate you. If you think suffocation by land-bound constrictors is bad, that by aquatic ones is worse due to higher chances of drowning! Occasionally comes ashore on submerged sandbars (where it's most vulnerable) to bask in the sun to re-energize before returning to the brackish water. Rank: Advanced; Average Vision, Poor Hearing, Excellent Smell; Mortal Spots: Head, neck, back; Very dangerous!

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ooh... No, I don't think that trait is too overpowering at all. In fact, I quite like it! I've always wondered if we'd every get a straight up (no pun intended) vertically-posed dinosaur in the Carnivores games, so I don't see why not! Vertical dinosaurs kind of scare me, and the ability to shift stances sounds like an ultra unique trait. I say go for it!
      Now, for the new bad boys.
      Polyonax sounds most interesting indeed (with a unique name, to boot!). A lot of ceratopsians tend to blend together, so finding little ways to differentiate them (a la the twisted horns) sounds like an excellent idea. What do you think of giving it crocodile-like armor along the back to really set it apart as a really vicious-looking, aggressive dinosaur?
      Pterosphenus sounds incredibly terrifying and fascinating at the same time. How did you imagine it attacking hunters if they don't venture out to sea? Perhaps striking from the shallows and using its enormous length to reach inland and reel itself back? I'd love to see something like this show up in a game in some form. Maybe we should lower the venom time from 30 minutes to, say, 30 seconds, just to add some urgency to an attack.
      I really like the Palaeophis as well. I can imagine it taking down Allosaurs and Spinosaurs that wander too close to the rivers and estuaries to drink. If it happens to show up around coastal waters, perhaps it could incite a battle between a Pterosphenus?
      All in all, great choices that I really want to see added to the games at some point.

    • @EmperorofToonsandBeasts
      @EmperorofToonsandBeasts 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed to all the above. Here more still, one of which I think, might be of particular interest to ya..
      Huntables:
      Augustinia- This brontosaur plods around browsing in the trees, relying on a defense other brontosaurs lack- a double row of spikes along its back and tail similar to a stegosaur's. Get too close and you'll meet your demise on its thagomizer or underfoot! Rank: Intermediate; Average Vision, Average Hearing, Average Smell; Mortal Spots: Head, neck, heart; Dangerous if wounded
      Monolophosaurus- A carnosaur with a crest. This medium-sized (14-20 feet long), ID'd by the iridescent purple bladelike crest along its head (think toucan or hornbill), spawns on lake shores in coniferous forest maps, and fast like its common cousin Allosaurus and tough like Liliensternus in the Triassic Sector- a nasty combination! Rank: Intermediate; Good Vision, Good Hearing, Excellent Smell; Mortal Spots: Head, neck, back, heart; Extremely dangerous!
      Carnotherizinus brutalis (named 1-14-2017)- A cousin of Therizinosaurus that reverted to a diet of meat, coincidentally bearing a shocking resembance to the big-clawed saurian in Earth's horror-survival game Dino Crisis. This large black beast (18-26 feet long, 7-9 feet tall, 1-3 tons) is a bruiser that hunts slower animals by ambush. A little slower than Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus, but more than makes up for it with resiliency and endurance. Sometimes it's alone, other times it roams in pairs; groups of more than two is rare. It kills you by swiping its huge claws through your belly or decapitation or chomping on your shoulder followed by shaking you like a rag doll then toss you like a trash bag and then kill you with an insta-kill stomp before feasting on you! Rank: Advanced; Excellent Vision, Good Hearing, Excellent Smell; Mortal Spots: Head, neck, back, heart, Extremely dangerous!
      Ambient:
      Nomingia- A 3-foot-long cousin of Oviraptor. with showy feathers along its arms and tail. These guys & gals may be little, but they can kick real hard (like a secretary bird) if you get too close, but not fatally. Native to the Middle Islands. Dangerous if cornered.
      Sinonithosaurus- This small raptor (3-4 feet long) doesn't look all that frightening, but it's venomous bite will make you think twice. Runs away from a distance, but attacks if at close range. Venom is potent enough to kill a man in 3 hours, but this reddish-orange and black raptor usually hunts prey smaller than itself. Native to the Middle Islands. Dangerous if approached or disturbed at close range.

      Absolutely agreed on Augustinia. If there's ever going to be another sauropod added to the games (aside from Seismosaurus, obviously), I want it to be Augustinia. There's really no creature out there like it, and it's really what we all wanted from dinosaurs as kids: enormous and covered in spikes. Perfect for the dinosaur planet!
      I definitely like Monolophosaurus, and I like that you characterized it as a mixture between Allosaurus and Liliensternus. That paints a vivid picture in my mind, and makes it a really unique dinosaur (especially the crest coloration). Makes me wish the dinosaur was already in the game so I could hunt (or observe) it.
      Carnotherizinus sounds horrifyingly brutal, not something I'd want to encounter in any shape or form (without packing serious firepower). I never played the Dino Crisis games, but a quick Google search yielded some pretty terrifying results! This sounds like a truly unique dinosaur, unparalleled by its saurian peers, and definitely something I'd approach with caution if hunting.
      Nomingia sounds like an interesting pick, but if they are native to the Middle Islands, how do you think they should be differentiated from the already feathered oviraptorids Rinchenia and Heyuannia?
      Sinonithosaurus sounds like a great pick, and I really like your chosen coloration and destination, it just sounds like a dinosaur that would live in the Middle Islands. It's also nice to see dinosaurs with venomous bites, I feel like that's something that's extremely underutilized when most dinosaurs are proposed.
      All great picks! Keep 'em coming.

    i actually like megalocerous and marcrokia (i probably butchered the spelling) equally. personally all i think the giant deer needed to make it more interesting was some programing tweaks and a new skin. also maybe to increase its size by 50% or so because its supposed to me larger than a modern Canadian moose. if they went with the more reindeer look from walking with beasts it might be more appropriate and ultimately i want the giant deer to be more threating considering how the Canadian moose is actually one of the most dangerous herbivores alive today. only one other comment. the walking whale. oh god yes please. that is one if my favorite prehistoric mammals next to ardrewsarchus. its just so cool to me. out of place perhaps but so awesome. its like my dog (specifically my family dog coco) mixed with a crocodile. to me its like an ice age equivalent of your favorite triassic animal the postasucus. what id really like to see is the creature spawning in and around water and enploying advanced ambush tactics to kill the player. like maybe you walk by a shrub near the water and if you don't spot it the beast can lunge and you to kill you quickly. tjat would rock so much!!!!!!! :)

  • @junotus198

    My TOP 5 picks:
    -marsupial lion
    A cross between a cave bear and smilodon twice as ferocious as its predecessors
    -charlicotherium
    Tylocephalonics should be one of the last animals which beefed up aggressiveness at advanced-master rank
    -thylacine/dodo
    The Moa could replace Titania as a large somewhat hostile ambient which only tramples the hunter under foot and can be killed as a trophy
    -myositis
    No more cheating by hiding in the water!😆
    -megatherium
    Maybe in the middle of a yeti and mammoth combined
    And maybe yutyrannus...as a ferocious stealthy dinosaur of the ice age maybe just before the yeti as the second last most dangerous animal before the yeti
    Cool video keep up the good work buddy!

    Another great video, and interesting animal choices. I have five ideas that might make good additions. One would be Argentavis, which was a huge bird similar to a Condor or possibly Vulture. They were so large that many people presume that if it were alive today, it could carry away a small child in its talons. Supposedly there are even Native American legends of a creature similar to Argentavis, know as the Thunderbird. The second creature would be Sivatherium, which was a prehistoric Giraffe. Although it was a Giraffe, it had horns/antlers that looked very much like the antlers of a Deer or Moose. The third one would be Gigantopithecus, which was a gigantic species of ape closely related to the modern Orangutan. It lived alongside primitive humans, and is sometimes called The Real King Kong due to the fact that its a gigantic ape. There is a theory among Cryptozoologists that Bigfoot and Yeti may in fact be the evolutionary descendants of Gigantopithecus. Supposedly these animals were generally harmless unless disturbed. The forth one would be Uintatherium, which was a Rhinoceros-like animal that had four horn-like protrusions on its head. Although it looked like some kind of Rhinoceros it was actually not of the same family. As a kid I thought this was such a cool looking animal. I still think its an interesting beast. And the fifth one would be Arsinotherium, which was a species of Rhino that had two large horns on its head. This creature looks like it would be quite a fearsome herbivore from the look of its horns. What do you think?

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of people have since suggested Argentavis, so I'm on board with that! It'd take us back to the Primal Prey days when we could actually hunt things out of the sky. Sivatherium would be extremely cool, kind of like the alienized lovechild of Megaloceros and Indricotherium (which would be incredible to hunt). Gigantopithecus would be cool, although it would take some real work to distinguish it from the Yeti. Honestly, I personally like thinking that the Yeti IS Gigantopithecus, named so by DinoHunt Corp. for marketing purposes. Uintatherium and Arsinotherium would also be great. The more huge, rhinoceros-like animals with crazy horns, the better. All in all, great picks! I'd love to see them in-game at some point.

    Personally I think the current roaster needs fine tuning was the animals are in to strange of places...for example Hyeanadon should be closer to the start perhaps by the wolf or Diatryma, and the Indricotherium should be after the mammoth.
    As for new animals my personal list would remain the same but I would like to see Deinotherium like before the mammoth but after smilodon, Synthetoceros after the Rhinoceros and Diprotodon after the wolf

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, the current roster is a little odd, for sure. It's kind of weird seeing Hyenadon and Andrewsarchus near the end when they're both tiny and pretty weak. My guess is that's to compensate with the app's lackluster controls. Maybe if it gets a Steam release we can buff the animals and rearrange the roster.
      All three great suggestions, and don't worry, your next 2 skin packs are still on the to-do list!

    • @SaurianTarget
      @SaurianTarget  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm personally not too fussed about giving the animals size buffs (the Spinosaurus is now super awkward since it was built as a smaller dinosaur that's just been blown up), but if people want to see it, I don't see why not!
      I'm not sure... How are you playing it right now?

    i think that Syvatherium would be a cool add as the passive herbivore and Thylacine instead of an ambient creature it could be like the celophysis and hunt in packs, also Quinkana would be a good one so that they don't go four the obvious Kaprosuchus and maybe another bird like Genyornis or Aepeornis that could be non aggressive but still cool to hunt last suggestion would be a fully aggressive carnivore like the cave bear or cave lion that could be massive and aggressive because nearly all carnivores in the ice age version run away before you even see them

    How about top things that need to be added to carnivores? example, sprinting, dinosaurs interacting with each other, etc

      I was thinking about doing a Carnivores wish list now that we might be getting a Steam release. Maybe I can tie those ideas together... Thanks for bringing it up!

    Don't get me wrong, Cryolophosaurus would be a great addition but it couldn't really fit in the polar section mainly because back in Early Jurassic Antarctica it was actually a lush sub tropical climate, but hey that's just me. Though Nanuqsaurus or the Alaskan Troodontid would be just as good if not better, but it IS your opinion.

      Fair point! I guess Cryolophosaurus' name and place of discovery subconsciously associates itself with cold areas in my mind. The Alaskan Troodon would make a really good pick, though! If Yutyrannus is this regal peacock of a polar dinosaur, the Troodon could be a lurking crow or something to counter it. Nice suggestion!
      I thought about Nanuqsaurus, but I felt it was a little too close to Yutyrannus... At least as far as my designs were going, anyway.

      Saurian Target Glad we agree!
      I understand why Nanuqsaurus wouldn't really fit, so maybe something like an Australovenator or the Aussie spinosaurid could fit the role.

    I could see some of these creatures *easily* replace some of the more bland creatures that currently exist in the game.

    idk bear dogs are supposedly real vicious so as ambiance they might not fit that well but then again dimetrodon in carnivores...

    if i created all the carnivorous games I would add that all the carnivors will eat other animals cuz in the game they don't have that but they do have that when you make the animals sound they get scared like the pigs in ice age and the plant eaters in dinosaurs hunter

    I was thinking that they should add the North American bear dog which is larger than the walking with beast and could stare a man in the and could replace the bear
