See, my boyfriends mom and older sister were convinced that I was playing a trick on him, even telling me after meeting me that they didn't know what I saw in him, then his mom says "yeah...I was really disappointed when he said you were white...why couldn't he pick a nice Latina girl? But you're okay for a Caucasian." After our wedding ceremony this year she came up to me and told me to hurry up and make her some grandchildren.

Ive never been on the recieving end of the hostile parent act, or at least not with an outright threat or other bullshit... mostly because im fairly open about my nerdiness. But my mom man, my mom has fucking put some of my past girlfruends through some shit. She openly detested my first serious girlfriend for a few (good reasons). Me and this girl had been best friends for 4 years before we finally got together in my junior year and we had the kind of friendship where we play fight and shed hit my arm or my back (never hard enough to hurt me, but almost always hard enough to hurt herself somehow). Well my mom happened to see it once when she saw us walking home together.... and from that moment throughout the entire two years we were together she made it very clear to me that she didnt approve nor like the girl. Although, there were certain circumstances that kind of justified her train of thought and dislike... like my sister walking in on us undressed (not doing anything, just laying in my bed and watching titanic or some bullshit)
Dude, I just got the best idea for a daughter's boyfriend prank. Have your friend and daughter's boyfriend over and after your daughter introduces her boyfriend to you, leave the room and have your friend in the room acting like her dad. And just keep alternating.
