Just grabbed a pair of these in the Red Wing shop today. I was surprised with how much darker they look in person. Much more of a beige. I ended up needing a half size smaller than I wear in my Blacksmiths.

Thank you so much for this video! I was excited to see those Black Prairie Blacksmiths again. I recently purchased a pair (almost 1 week actually), and I have been anxious to see if you had a follow up on your Blacksmiths. Would love to see a more in depth follow-up with those boots. These Hawthorne Oxfords look amazing. I bet the patina will make them a "fancy roughneck" style of boot as time goes on. Fancy for style and when you clean them up, but roughneck with that Christy sole for all day walking/working. Thank you! Cheers from Louisiana
I like what they did with them this time around, its more of a return to form for the shop moc. They used to have a Norwegian welt style and a leather lining, these are undoubtedly beefier and more closely resemble the 6 inch moc that we all know and love. Might snag a pair if they become available in the US.
Yes I was expecting them to have the Norwegian welt.. these are pretty much the same construction as the boots, except for a small box stitch at the tongue
I have been following your channel for a few years now, Your other video made me get the Moc Toe 1907 instead of the 875 (actually went back to the store and switched to the 1907's after seeing your review after coming home with the 875's) And its been fun seeing yours evolve and now mine since two years back. And yesterday i ended up getting a pair of Iron Rangers in the Hawthorne Muleskinner because of the light color and summervibes ive been getting from watching them online all winter, made me real glad to see this video come up, cant wait to see how the ones you got is gonna change over time! The 1907s are beautiful, looking forward to resoling mine. Nothing evolves like the Oro Legacy though (that might be a good or a bad thing depending on your outlook.. I was initially a bit saddened by the rapid darkening)
If you look at the advertisement for Field Of Dreams - Kevin Costner is wearing a pair of the Red Wing Oxford shoe- the picture of him standing with his legs crossed. Obviously a different shade but I am sure thats what he is wearing.

I also have a pair of solovair derby boots so I really like all your past solovair content. I’ve also been looking at Truman boot company, it would be cool if you got a pair of there’s in the future to review because I appreciate your reviews and trust your opinion on these boots and other products. I like the clothing and pocket knife reviews also. Keep up the great work.
Great review. I saw these at the Red wing shop in Munich when I picked up a pair of the Black Prairie Blacksmith’s last week. Can’t decide what color to go for on these for the summer. I like the way the pair you have look. I’m curious how they will patina.
Got these a few days ago and already have some stains on them that I can't get out.... I washed them with RW foam leather cleaner, used the rubber, and nothing worked. Also tried some vinegar+water on a more hidden stain, but no luck either. Any recommendation?
I go true to size in those, so UK8… I might be able to go down half a size but it would take work, early experience with 875 convinced me TTS was the way to go

Years ago I believe these were offered with the super sole I would buy these today if they did. Yes the cristy is comfortable but a style thing

I think they will be relatively stable, but I think they will soak up indigo from denim like a sponge.. I am cuffing high!
