I can't believe that I have been making upcycled metal can/plastic bottle/ and paper bead earrings for years and never thought to do this! 😏 Mark, you always amaze me. So grateful that you choose to share your creative genius with us. 💖✌🏽
I love Marabu. I love the additions they've made that add shimmer too! Very pretty. I've always thought this was a super cool decorating method. And what a cute project. I'll have to add this to my eternally growing list of things to craftily explore! Great tutorial, as always
Hi Mark, these are so beautiful, and I use to bead a lot so I have all of the jump rings and earring wires. I love these so much I have made marble mugs dipping these in nail polish using the same method you did when dipping the metal for the earrings. I can't wait to try these they look like so much fun. Thanks again Mark for another awesome craft. You take care and stay safe, sending love and lots of hugs, bye for now.
This is so Beautiful 😍 you are the Master 😍I thought of another idea I can turn it into Psychedelic Art to decorate all around my Fence ! I always save all your video ! 😍😍😍
This is so much easier than nail polish. I find the polish can dry too quickly AND it seems to turn into a thick layer of skin that can look terrible on the piece that you're dipping. Just my opinion.
Great Idea. I have the same marble paints & the other items on your list. I can also adapt your project to make embellishments for other crafts. The only problem I have with the marbling is that it doesn’t totally dry because I live in a humid climate. It remains sticky no matter how many days I let it dry. I found that I had to use a sealer that doesn’t dry sticky. If I use it on paper, I brush on clear gesso to get rid of the stickiness. Thanks for sharing another awesome project. Tere
This jewelry is just gorgeous Mark. I love the process and those colors are delicious, and you know I love some sparkle. What great gifts these would make for all the girlfriends or if we can ever get out again these would be perfect to sell at a craft sale. 💙💜❤
@@MarkMontanoMakeYourMark Thank you so much I will get them I don't have that kind so I will pick them up tomorrow. You are always coming up with such great ideas.
Love this! The colors are so bright and beautiful! You could even not cut them and just frame some of these pieces. Too cool! And I missed the deadline for the postcards. Hopefully you’ll do another one? Maybe Halloween inspired, or Christmas even?? Just throwing that out there. 😉

Thank you for posting a lovely how-to using supplies on hand. I wish I had some Marabu Easy Marble in my supply stash, but I don't. Is there another marbling supply that people are more likely to have at home that can be substituted for the Marabu? Thank you for the tip about using serrated scissors when cutting metal for dulling the metal edges.
Hi Susan! You can use them on anything! Anything you can dip you can marble. I make note cards with the extra paint that's left in the water after the first dip. It's such an easy product to use!
Amazing! Thank you for this pretty-pretty idea. But I can't find those serrated scissors in my local market just the traditionals with straight cut. Maybe in Amazon?? I'm from Chile 😊
Omg thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for! Do you think this technique would work on fabric too (I'm thinking of making a t-shirt or even a bikini with marbled fabric)? Should I add textile medium to it?
I have links in the description of all my videos for my favorite products. I think these are in there but you can find serrated scissors all over the place. They cut the edge so it feels like the edge of a butterknife.

OMG! Where have I been? I've been using nail polish with terrible results. Finally something easy.
Nail polish isn't my favorite either. Dries way to fast for me and I can't do larger projects.
Sooooo cool! I don't have these paints but I've seen people try similar with nailpolish... I'll give it a go!
This is so much easier than nail polish. I find the polish can dry too quickly AND it seems to turn into a thick layer of skin that can look terrible on the piece that you're dipping. Just my opinion.

Hi Ann! This is what I use because it's so easy. I get mine at Joggles.com which ships quickly and they have all the colors.
Wow so beautiful. How did you let the pieces dry ?
They dry just like paint would dry. I let them dry for about an hour.
In LOVE with those marbled paints Mark! Where is the best place to get them?
Hi Mary, check out Joggles.com. That's where I get mine.
They're beautiful! =)
Super light, too Phoebe! Plus you can cut them in ANY shape!
Yeah! and I love that they're recycled. =)
My favorite part of them!
Yeah. =)
Great idea with the paints! Can the paints be used on paper or heavy photo stock?
Amazon should have something but you can always use some sandpaper if you can't find them.
@@MarkMontanoMakeYourMark Thank you Mark 🧡. Will try Plan B.
Hi Mark! What are you setting the items on once dipped to dry? Thanks!
You can just put them on some wax paper if you have it. If not, just regular paper. Nothing special.
Mark Montano thank you! 👍
Omg thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for! Do you think this technique would work on fabric too (I'm thinking of making a t-shirt or even a bikini with marbled fabric)? Should I add textile medium to it?
Works on all kinds of things! Check out the links I provided. Joggles.com carries all of the colors. Great company!
These are great. I’m curious how you placed them to dry since they’re marbled on both sides. Does the paint dry quickly? Thanks for sharing.
Paint dries pretty quickly and I always have a roll of wax paper on hand.
Where can I find the special scissors? I have many tin cans for this project and now I just need to get the marble paints.
I have links in the description of all my videos for my favorite products. I think these are in there but you can find serrated scissors all over the place. They cut the edge so it feels like the edge of a butterknife.
I thought about using some plastic beads because I don't like their color! Thank you for the video!
Yes, dipping plastic beads is such a fun idea!
Oh, my another awesome idea from Mark, YAHOO, I love this, but I've never heard of the Marble paint, is it acrylic or ink or made from something different?
Hi Melody, it's actually almost like nail polish. Not acrylic so you do need to wear some gloves. A bit more watery than nail polish but the same stuff.
just a crazy question is the ends sharp on the metal??
Not at all IF you use serrated edge scissors like I mention in the video. They dull the edges as you cut so the edge is kind of like a butterknife.
😱😱😱😱🥺🥺🥺🥺 i love it...😄
Thanks Sunanda!
Hi….I love this idea but I have a few questions. When I did it the paint formed a film on top of the water. When I take the tin out of the water it has bubbles from water droplets and thick film sticks to it in areas. Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks
Try cleaning the tin with alcohol to make sure it's free of any residue. The water droplets can happen, but you might wait a few seconds more before you dip the pieces to give them time to settle.
I use this method to make windchimes out of cans and old beads
That sounds like a lovely chime!
