    Why was this so simple, so satisfying & yet I struggled trying to make ear wires 🤷🏾‍♀️

      It’s a journey, I remember I even struggled with making jump rings when I first started. :)

    Just discovered your channel. I made several pair of earring of the first design, circle earrings you showed for Christmas gifts, so easy and very minimalist. I’d seen these at a little boutique going for several hundred dollars in 14k gold and thought, I can make those! Love your jewelry designs.

    Hello! What would you recommend to use to smooth out the ends of the wire?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! :) You can use file, sandpapers or with a flex shaft if you have one. You can watch more or my latest video to see how I do it: th-cam.com/video/5p2FnpjQH-A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_ffzUXYY8VnU-Ipf Have fun !

    If the loops aren't perpendicular at the end, how do they hook?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi I hope I understand your question correctly. The small loops end are for hanging the beads and these earrings hook could just thread through the ear from the other end without using any earrings nuts.

    Hi, very nice tutorial and very clear, Thank you! Just wondering how you find brass wire as a material for ear wires? Do they cause any sensitivity?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your compliments :) I have no problems wearing brass wire myself and have no sensitivity reaction at all. But it has to depends on individual, everyone is different.

  • @indria323
    @indria323 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    They're so simple and cute! Do you sand or file the ends that are put through the lobe? I feel like it would be pointy and uncomfortable otherwise if just cut 🤔🤔

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! And yes, smoothen the wire ends definitely.

  • @johnmimist
    @johnmimist ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you show how to round the cut ends so not sharp?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi you can find filing technique in most of my other earrings tutorials. Such as this one: th-cam.com/video/8uuv15_3ZhQ/w-d-xo.html

    Hi, this is wonderful! Can you tell us about this hammer that you are using? What kind and brand is it?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Christina! I bought that nylon hammer from a local craft store, it has no brand. I think you should be able to find them in any craft store or Amazon too, they are common.

    Love your tutorials! Are you using a half hard wire? Thanks!

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Brass wire normally comes in just one hardness unlike precious metal. And yes I’ll recommend using half hard for making these.

    • @RafaellaSchumann
      @RafaellaSchumann 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MaggieCSAtelier Oh I see! I didn't know that about brass. Good to know! Thank you!

    What wire do you recommend? What metal is best for ear and is nickel free?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ll recommend using silver, gold-filled or gold wire for sensitive ears. Base metal like copper and brass are fine too, but be sure to get those without coating for ears. Hope this helps. :)

    Can I use 21g wire for this??

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you could, I’ll suggest making the size slightly smaller if you do, so it’ll remain sturdy. :)

    Hey, what kind of hammer is that? And where can I get one?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a nylon hammer I bought from a local craft store. I think you should be able to find them in any craft store or Amazon too, they are common. You can also opt for rubber hammer or rawhide hammer. It’s work the same.
