Bass Fishing with a Texas Rig & PowerBait Pit Boss (Beginner Tips)

- Today I'm out bass fishing with a Texas Rig PowerBait Pit Boss. This is beginner level bass fishing from the bank which means anyone can try these tips. After leaving several busy fishing spots because they were too busy, I finally find a place that isn't too crowded. Using a 5/O EWG and a 3/16oz worm weight I get the pit boss rigged up just right. I make a few long casts along the bank and into open water with no results. After that I try pitching to cover along the bank. Thats when it happens! Had to really grind today to get fish. There were 5 of us at the pond today which is unusual. However, no one got skunked. Medium sized crappie, large bluegills, several very small bass, a 2 lb bass and a 4 1/2 pound bass. It took six hours. We all had fun. As Realistic Fishing always shows, when the fishing is slow you have to grind it out. We kept our distance and had a great time watching each other catch fish and talking. Even with the damn virus we old folks can still have a good time. I think the average age of the four of us was about 65. I'm 71 so I was fishing with the young people. LOL Thanks again for your videos, Alex.

Fishing out here in the Northwest is similar, with lots of people out fishing during the quarantine. It is a little frustrating, yet at the same time good to see dad's, mom's and kids unplugging from electronics for a while and doing "Reelistic" things together as a family.
