- This is why the Pit Boss is Awesome! While Bass fishing with a Pit Boss I caught 5 bass from the bank. That's right! In one short trip I caught five largemouth bass on one lure, the Havoc Pit Boss. We are not talking about the Powerbait version here, we are talking about the Havoc original. This is one of my favorite lures to Texas Rig because it really gets the bass's attention. I catch one bass by a drain, two by a boat ramp, and two by submerged trees. This lure can be fishing in so many areas! The Pit Boss is just plain awesome! #bassfishing #notsponsored

The pit boss was the first creature bait I ever used. I still love it
Try rigging a finesse TRD or big trd on a 1/0 ewg hook with a nail weight on the bottom. I absolutely kill the largemouth bass with that exact setup at my local lake. Basically, it's a weedless ned rig.
@Straight To The Point Outdoors hey thanks! I love the Ned rig, but it gets hung up on everything, so to keep the action of the bait, I figured why not just weight the bottom and use a worm hook? It works VERY well.
Heck yeah. 5 bass on a rainy day... That’s a WIN in my book.
I got skunked on my last rainy day outing. Threw the Rage Craw that day
So weird how fish are. I was out panfishing yesterday and as soon as it started to sprinkle the gills were hammering my bait. Other times you fish in the rain and get nothing.

pit boss is so versatile you can texas rig it and catch big bass or use it as a swimjig trailer or a chatterbait trailer or even a spinnerbait trailer ive used it for all and had success by far my favorite beaver style soft plastic

I caught a bunch on the pit today too, ripped, flipped it over, lost a leg, ripped some more, flipped it on it side, lost another leg, then the last fish shook and what was left of it went flying lol, earning its way as one of my favorites!

My best bass catches were on raining days (but later in the season in mid October) so I'm always excited about raining days journeys.

Pitboss is my all time favorite soft plastic. It sucks they discontinued the havoc line last year but I bought up a bunch.

That 4th Bass's Thrashing is exactly why I tend to wear a glove when unhooking, no need to get your thumb torn up.
Them pitbosses are underrated watching your videos introduced me to them when I subscribed a long time ago definitely love them, our ollies gets the havoc baits $2 a pack I load up on the pit bosses and other similar ones they make.
$2 is a good price. I have picked some up on sale over the years as well
