Very nice looking car and definitely despite being Stelantis has Alfa genes coursing through it's veins . I would definitely wait for the Hybrid version . The Prussian Blue colour is indeed stunning .
@@NevoEVReviewIreland yeah I might have a drive of one as I really like the look of it. I know it’s difficult to make it much cheaper, it’s just a new model 3 is such good value and more modern tech than the Stellantis stuff. Any great to see an Alfa EV always loved the Alfas
Nice to see the iconic Alfa badge appearing in EV form. It bears no relation to Alfas I would have owned many years ago but still nice to see I own an e2008 which is actually a car hitting the sweet spot in terms of its weight to size ratio, so I’d not be knocking Stellantis cars just for being Stellantis.
It'd be very stylish if it were proportioned properly into a hatchback car. But as usual, they've stretched out the belt line and front bar, and jacked it up to make yet another crossover - and I just don't feel it's possible to make a stylish crossover. Alpha might come closer than most, but it still falls short. Nice seats though, and the wheel design and front "grille" design are both really nice.
Thank you for the first right hand drive review I have seen of this. At €35k as reviewed it looks cost effective. The Veloce which will be hugely more expensive is what I am really after. Looks and handling have nailed it. My problem is that my nearest dealer, which with past Alfas I have needed all to often, is more than fifty miles away. I wonder whether this is a problem in Ireland - live in Cork but service in Dublin? My alternative would be something from Mini which has a dealer nearby and is also fun and an interesting design.
Lots to consider there Paul. A closer dealer always gives peace of mind. Hopefully you won't need any dealer interaction with whichever model you decide on apart from yearly service
Just need renaming back to Milano, I'd personally rip the Junior badge off and find the original badge online somewhere or even a picture of what it did look like and get it 3D printed to match and re-badge it back as the original name, Milano.
I'm in the market to replace a Ford Focus and every time I watch one of these and see the price, I ask myself, "sure, it looks nice but for that price, why wouldn't I just buy a Tesla M3? I agree with Derek's early comment that the options are growing but the prices need to drop to broaden appeal. ...and take me away from the Tesla option.
True but some just don't like the Tesla Model 3 otherwise everyone would buy one. Be it dealer location, or interior or the man at the top. Yes, the Speciale model I was driving is a similar price to an entry level Tesla but some people also just want to stand out
One reason for many people buying this - amongst other things of course - would be that it's NOT a Tesla. But then again, tastes vary and it's horses for courses.
Nice body, but shame about the Stellantis mechanicals. It’s basically the same car and battery underneath as my Peugeot e208, complete with piano black interior. That’s not a bad car, but is woefully outdated and overpriced against the Koreans and Chinese. As I’ve had 12V battery issues with my Peugeot, can’t see myself getting another Stellantis car - they are basically all the same.
@@NevoEVReviewIrelandProbably looking at something like a Kona or EV3 next time as the lease prices on them are pretty good, maybe a Renault 4/5 or an MG4. Lots of choice coming in 2025, but I’ve ruled out the Stellantis cars like the Panda and e-C3. Unfortunately it’s a case of once bitten twice shy!

Alfa Romeo need to launch an upmarket small saloon. Or two - replacements for the Giulietta & Mito
Really like it, I sat in the one at the Nevo show maybe a bit expensive compared to my Model 3 but lovely looking car.
Agree, a lovely looking car and base trim at sub 35k is decent value

Really makes me think why Stellantis gave such little effort into the DS3 Etense when it's technically the genesis of the same ev platform

Agree with all of your points

Can’t wait to try the Veloce version
I'll wait for the petrol version.
I am going to receive one this week. Cant wait

It's an alfa and keeps alfa styling. Good boot size. Thought-provoking. Needs one pedal driving.
Thanks
Des
One pedal would be great. Thanks Des
It's the flag of Milan and the serpent of Turin

I'm sure there will be aftermarket trim pieces produced, including Milano badges
Or it could be a 176?
Beautiful style car,,, but battery is a bit too small,,,
300km real world range I think would suit a lot of people. Not everyone but a lot

The Model 3 isn't a hatchback, it's much less stylish, and it has a much more basic, less premium interior.

like all Stellantis cars they just fail on the platform, charging, battery etc
Fail is a little harsh. Perfectly adequate is how I'd position it. What would you consider instead?
@@NevoEVReviewIreland oh the EV3 of course is the one these will all be measured against !!
I'm looking forward to driving it in RHD very soon
@@NevoEVReviewIreland oh I bet ... everything about it seems perfect to me for our markets, UK, Ireland and generally EU
2k cheaper than a 2008!! 🤯
Gorgeous, but too bad it's a Stellantis
The 2 grill designs are super naff.
I haven't seen the legenda one in person, I actually like the Pregesso one on the car I was driving
Nope.
