    Putting aachen chapel i S is not really thoughtful. If you think of it as needet to get the buff, you would be right. But you can just not have it and just be decent with your prelate micro. The landmark is immediately 3 tiers down. And then, the council hall might not appear to be huge (even if we disregard the longbows themselves and just go with normal archers), this building is extremely strong as it basically gives you a free "get out of jail" card. You are perfectly well defendet against most feudal agression and you have basically "free" very fast feudal aggresion that your opponent HAS to respect. This landmark is extremely strong, not because it is 2 ranges, but that you also have them so quick. the tradeof compared against the aachen is you loose 2 villagers with aachen, but u gain 2 prelates, that you can really make good use of defensively (healing) as also for gathering relics later on. I would trade council hall vs aachen chapel any day (as hre main). Also The barbican and the silver tree are just huge. Beasty you are just extremely biased with your HRE because it fits ur playstyle, but if you would get into the math of it youd see that you overestimate the civ as a whole by alot, but especially the landmarks. On raw numbers and with honest analysis, only the swabia is deserving S Tier for HRE. Reglitz needs relics, that is also to be considered, hence it is really not that strong as it forces u to invest into getting the relics hence making you also really predictable.

    For me if they would just change deer Stones to a universal drop-off, it would be fine. Playing right into the nomadic gameplay. But I am also excited to see what's coming.

    I think you kind of overlooked the main role of the Grand Winery? Which is to play a mercenary build and maximise your oil income in late game. Hippodrome doesn't scale well late game.

    I have a question. How come CoC and School of Calvary are both C tier when nobody uses CoC? If School of Calvary is the only one really used, then shouldn't CoC be D tier?

      I mean it’s not about which one is used more by players but rather the usefulness of the landmark

    If the Japanese start with -50 wood? Why does hre start with a free prelate? If the English have a gradual farm bonus of 15/20/25/30, why hre doesn't have the similar chapel and prelate bonus of 20/25/30 per age instead of having 40% from age two? These are things that don't make sense and I've never understood them. Are the developers German? Xd. Like if you wish chapel and prelate gets nerfed in the next patch.

      HRE starts with -100 gold. It used to be that they didn't start with a prelate but then everyone would build a prelate first, every single game.
      From a game design perspective, you should integrate into the starting position things that aren't choices anyways, like building the prelate. So spawning one right away but starting with -100 gold was a very good idea.
      HRE is also a massive one-trick pony that needs inspiration to work, so nerfing it would require either a fundamental redesign of the civ or being okay with it being unplayable at all. It had been even more of a one-trick pony before the Marching Drills changes.

      @@Wertflux -100 gold is not enough to balance the huge economic advantage they have over other civilizations from the start of the game. 40% speed of resource acquisition from the start of the game is a total imbalance. It should be granted gradually for each age

    marching drills should be exclusively meinwerk, that and maybe another upgrade in imperial? that will both nerf HRE and buff meinwerk

      I saw another comment that suggested having the meinwerk produce a unit and also neft the Aachen, but this also sounds like a really good idea

      Tbh as long as aachen stay as it is, HRE will suffer from it. It's such a freaking good landmark that Meinwerk will never be competitive and will always have to think about it before giving anything to HRE or it might become too strong with aachen (like marching drills).

      @@jeromemartel3916 don't get me wrong, aachen is the best feudal landmark but what it does is it gives you virtual 1-2 prelate in early game and maybe 3-4 in late game. People somehow see it as the landmark that gives you +40% gather rate when its actually the prelate that does that. Sure 1-2 prelate in early game is great but people are too wild when it comes too this, a little nerf will be fine.

    I'm most agree with this list for Ayyubide, HRE, and Zhu Xi, byzantin, OOTD, Mongol, SdD but i don't know if a military landmark can be up and down compare to a static landmark. Having a tempo advantage it's almost nuts in this game.

    I think Meinwerk palace should spawn a unit similar to the English king to be a viable alternative to the chapel (plus nerfing chapel a bit). It should also retain the extra techs.

    Tried to spark this conversation on the forums but failed miserably, I think they should give the chapel the mill upgrades and nerf the prelates and chapel by 5%

      I think that's fair. I also think people would continue to build chapel even with a slight area of effect reduction, but it would push things in the right direction.

    OOTD chapel gets 7% better economy than HRE chapel, since OOTD vills have a higher base gathering rate.

      this would only come into play when you have full farms around them. Until that point, you have less vills with OOTD so it balances out. Also their units cost double while not being 2x as good so even if you gather better, you throw it away faster.

    This one is for next video, but I asked corvinus why he places guildhall at S tier as he even said he sometimes forgets it’s there and “wow 10k gold!”
    Isn’t it a pretty mediocre landmark if it does nothing for the first 15 minutes and you even forget that it’s there? And as a French how many match ups do you have that you would want to prolong the game instead of pushing the advantage of early map pressure? Pointed this fact out but he’s never responded. I think it’s a load of baloney and it’s B tier at best for guild hall. And the only thing he responded with was how the guild hall functions the longer the game goes. But even then, isn’t guild hall basically a one time use per game or maybe two? So very confused if he understood the point or just refused to acknowledge it. I would only place it at S if it’s in a team game or you’re vs a Delhi spamming keeps and you want to bank up stone

    I fail to understand how Saharan trade Network is listed so low, when Barbican is so high. Am I missing something, or did Beasty forget that the Trade Network functions as a defensive structure?

      Barbican have pistols shot , and can defend against cavalry , as for other defense structure have actualy more than just a shot .
      Saharan trade network is literaly the same as 100 wood plus 50 stone and 25 gold (an upgraded tower) if it could store at least more than five villagers would be surely more usefull , but still 5 vil maxl can go inside.
