In this adventure-packed episode, I'm taking my trusty Royal Enfield Himalayan on one of the most scenic routes in the world. We start our journey in Gyirong, a picturesque town nestled in the mountains, known for its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant local culture.
As we hit the road, you'll be treated to stunning vistas of towering peaks, rolling hills, and the rugged terrain that makes this region so unique. The Royal Enfield Himalayan, with its robust build and reliable performance, is the perfect companion for this challenging yet awe-inspiring ride.
Along the way, I'll share insights into navigating the mountain roads, tips for motorcycle maintenance in harsh conditions, and my personal experiences of riding in such an extraordinary setting.
Our destination, New Tingri, offers a glimpse into the authentic Tibetan lifestyle and culture. Here, we'll explore the local attractions, indulge in traditional cuisine, and interact with the warm-hearted residents.

There are few people in the town. The main villagers are herdsmen and need to grant it outside. The children send them to cities with better living conditions to go to school. There may be only the elderly at home. Another reason is that winter is here. Many people move to live in southern China, and only in summer.

Until I started watching your touring vid's I'd hav never given the Royal Enfield a look before. But now, they look like a perfect bike for the job.

As i have said before i get a great buzz from this . Just in the process of buying a Triumph Street Triple 2008 15000 miles and mint . Kept in the sellers living room when not ridden lol my wife wouldt go for that lol . Any one out there that has one please let me know what you think of the Triumph .
I’ve owned the street triple 675R 2010 and it’s was an amazing bike. But like everything it’s all depends on what type of riding your wanting to do. I think the new Himalayan motorcycle will be a great all rounder. If your wanting some adventure riding as well as road.

Great video again.. backdrop scenery is amazing. I like the roads so quite and gives you chance to enjoy the views while riding. I was wondering how long does it take you to set all the cameras before you set off? as you got a few cameras attached to your bike and helmet. 🙂Look forward for the next one.
Hi, thanks. The scenery is totally amazing on ever turn and I’ve never riden such quite roads, it’s overwhelming at times because you feel like your riding the undiscovered. As for the cameras it just take time and a lot of practice to master the presentation and recording. I’ve had a lot of difficulty in the past but everyone finds there own system out. Glad your enjoying the videos, I like the comments 👍

Hi Simon did you take your own gear with you . Great footage . Did you have any issues with the Go pro . These bikes are built for the job very tough . It would be great to see you on the new Himalayan and let you review that . I have a major problem buying gloves as i have large hands so many makes dont fit . My wife said that i have ape hands LOL . I simply have to do this next year . I might do it for charity for the Heartt foundation . 👍👍👍👍
Taking your own gear, especially for recording like a GoPro, can definitely capture great footage of such trips. I always get some sort of issue with the go pro I just have to check the cameras regularly when riding. Regarding the Himalayan bike, it's always interesting to try out new models and give them a review. I’m looking forward this that one. Finding the right gloves can be a challenge, especially with larger hands, but it's great that you're taking it in stride with humor. Doing a trip for charity, like for the Heart Foundation, is a wonderful idea. It adds a meaningful purpose to your adventure. I always take my own kit. Gloves can be a difficult one. Check out bikerheaz.co.uk they might be able to advise you on the gloves for big hands. All the kit I where comes from them. 👍
