- After driving an hour to the property, we only had two hours to trim the beech hedge before dark. For this job, I used my Stihl KM131 trimmer with the HL-KM 145 attachment, while my helper followed and loaded everything into the trailer. Although we worked very fast, I never got a chance to video myself trimming the hedge on the other side of the yard, so I had to come back the next day just to film the final result.

Kinda got a late start on this cleanup,still haven’t found a safety vest you like yet,would have been perfect having it for this job,dark clothes,late afternoon,overcast,people flying by with no regard to you.sounds about right.Lol. Ever thought about getting an extension for your cutter?might save your ass climbing a ladder,especially on a busy road.
Just saying,as a fellow profesional gardener,
I know you ll say,you can't see as well what you cutting but as the owner has'nt had it cut for two years!! are they that bothered? and for your safety?

Thank you for your comment, I have an extension cord at one meter, but as you said yourself that way I will not see what I cut and the top of the hedge will not be straight. Just the problem is that later clients want an even top and later when the hedge becomes denser it is much harder to do, so I try to do everything as even as possible.
Hard for the camera to pick up but looks like ya kicked it's ass and got it looking nice again, and even in that cold!!! Stay warm! Merry Christmas!

Bylo toho hodně a ještě nahoře velký sestřih. Je dobře, že máte asistenta. Jinak bezvadná práce a v tak nevlidnem počasí. Já vám posílám pozdrav a přání všeho nejlepšího v těchto dnech. Ještě by mě zajímalo jestli stříhate raději zelené živé ploty a nebo je to jedno? Děkuji vám 👍👍👍🍁
Děkuji, tentokrát to nebyla příliš náročná práce. Obecně není velký rozdíl v tom, který živý plot stříhat, ale myslím, že nejtěžší je živý plot z modrého cypřiše, protože musíte mít dobře nabroušené nůžky.
