Kamal Akeel is it dangerous to drive it withought traction control because lately my car thinks im sliding on turns and once my VDC is off and the SLIP light turn on it drives normal so im deciding if i should just take off the traction control like when it rains or something will i just slide off?
I actually ordered a welder to weld mine too. To be honest I’m not sure if it would still cut power possibly. I mean it might not be noticeable but I think if you truly want traction and stability completely off, unplugging the yaw sensor will do it.
Well it’s possible to drift by just pushing the traction off button but the car will still slightly try to straiten itself out. I think the car reacts much better to staying sideways with disconnecting the yaw sensor and having both completely off.
The base model 350z has an open diff, I’m pretty sure all other models have the lsd. If you have the rear of the car jacked up and the cars in neutral you can turn one wheel and if the other wheel turns the opposite way that would mean it’s an open diff, if they turn the same way it should be lsd. I don’t think there’s any way to know by looking at the diff because I think they use the same casing or housing.
Disconnecting the sensor didn’t disable the abs for me actually. I think only certain models disable the ABS as well. Disconnecting the sensor isn’t too difficult so I would try it and see.

I plan on welding my diff so I’m assuming I can just turn VDC off and not worry about unplugging the yaw sensor?

some trims its called "TCS' instead of "VDC" but the button should be in the same location
