The only competition I know about is the national poulan chainsaw starting competition. Of which there has been no winners as of yet. The name Stihl comes from poulan owners being asked if they've gotten their poulan started yet. Nope Stihl ain't started.
I've got a Poulan that I've had for 15 years and it always starts on first- second pull, have wore out several chains and only changed the plug and fuel lines once. Don't know what happened with yours but mine has made lots of firewood and just used it again today.
@@guss6469 You'd be correct. I am super strong and I can do a lot of cool stuff, just ask your mom if you don't believe me. Had her speaking portuguese the other night. Also, I take care of my Stihl and it always starts right away year after year.
Kinda off topic,, but Montgomery CC has a awesome gunsmith program and not far down the road is a family owned lumber company that really knows how to treat there employees..
Help I have a beast that makes OAK seem soft as white pine help please this HICKORY Log is like steel...even tried 20 inch Husquavarna and 50 cc motor I need a somebody who can really cut ---you got some 80cc to 100cc monster you can have at it but be warned? you better have CARBIDE cutters cause this beast is hard as nails?
Jason snubbed the camera 📸🤳 Not cool as a spectator curious to know what happened and why to learn more about the sport. Missed opportunity to get exposure to the masses.
I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.
I mean guys spend hours and months perfecting techniques and building these saws to perform same with the guys chopping they dont make millions but you get a guy to throw a ball in tights and no one beats an eye on that being a sport sooo
I threw the chain off of my bicycle one time, same effect, I didn't wanna talk about it
🤣🤣
LOL!

Some very high control skills there, it takes a lot with regular saws......Imagine it scaled up to these beasts.

You could surely take it up for under a grand, lol
They have way more than 1k into these saws. That said, buy a holzfforma saw from China and start modifying it.

What RPMs are these chainsaws running at?
10,000-12,000 RPM, give or take
@@BVW16 Probably higher than that. My box stock Husqvarna 562 turns 14,000. But I'd like to know what rpm these race saws turn too.
Believe it or not the saws run 10 - 12, 800 rpm. Its just that they're 250-400cc's and around 100hp
where is the "both cuts are good" guy
