It’s nice to see a mix of classic and new art. Game might lose some luster when the “meta” takes over but I’ll give it a couple months. Not sure if it’ll survive to 2025
Playing F2p , got an account that is blessed, immersive Charizard and Pikachu and had a rare pack Full art pikachu, 2+full art blastoise and Zapdos and electrode Alt art
Instead of buying packs I just download the game on different devices. I have 3 phones 1 tablet and my emulator not including family computers. Once trading is available I will throw all of the cards from those fodder accounts to my main one. I am sure there is going to be some bottleneck put on trading of some kind maybe they will be dumb enough to allow trading to be a free for all.

Spend money on physical tcg. Pull rates are infinitely better. Spending any kind of money for 0.3% pull rate for a standard ex ultra rare makes no sense, doubly so for a digital version. Also TCG Pocket will hold zero monetary value since you can only trade the same rarity, this is simply a pokemon themed cash grab for whales.
How are you all spending money? I was gonna drop like 10 bucks to get some cards and it says "not avaliable in my country" on all of my payment options. I just need to pull 2 Muk DAMN IT!!!!
There also are differences in the gameplay. In the normal TCG there are energy cards (which go in the deck) here you have one energy every turn granted. The deck here is 20 cards, normal TCG is 40, here the cards only have weakneses, in the normal TCG also have stregths... Basically is another game based off the original but "pocket"

no, the game is heavily geared towards casual audiences.
this is so much easier than the normal pokemon tcg live [about 30-40 mins long game]. tcg pocket plays are fast paced running 10 mins at most

Yeah, that's not that much cheaper than physical booster packs depending on what product you're buying. That's too high a price for digital cards.

That math is wrong. 390 USD is about 350 packs by my calculations.
In the Nz store it shows $200 for the biggest bundle, I'm assuming that putting $400 on the title looks better than $240 or $390 or w.e else 🤷
