Not trying to be a smartass (and I am not an HD fanboy), but it may be worthwhile to check the speedos against a GPS. Most metrics I've ridden read 5-10% higher than their actually speed, while I have seen non-police HDs with significantly lower deviations. I say "non-police" because the ones used by traffic cops ostensibly have calibrated speedos.
