This day was our best day we had during our stay in Thailand! We could not recommend this excursion and the company we used enough! I know many are against any interaction with Elephants at all but we really felt like this sanctuary was very ethical in their treatment and the way the Elephants were roaming free and allowed to come and go as they pleased...❤🐘🐘🇹🇭
They were very cute! We were lucky they had babies while we were there! They were only 1 and 2 months old at the time which was December of 2023 so I'm sure they are a lot bigger now!
They were amazing to see being so small compared to their Momma. Fun fact is that all the female elephants in the heard help take care of any babies...not just the Mom! Such amazing gentle giats!

Christmas was definitely different than our norm, and we missed seeing our extended family for the holidays, but the kids still really enjoyed it! We got a small Christmas Tree and stockings for the counter of our Thailand apartment, and our Elf on the shelf still found us all the way in Thailand! 😉 The kids got candy from Santa and understood we couldn't get big gifts since they wouldn't fit in our suit cases and the experiences were the real gift. Hopefully, they look back on our videos when they're older and appreciate all the experiences...🥰
