Does help alot he has no need to prove himself to be a great player by winning it big. The video and the fun of the game is so much more important
Yeah Ben's a great sport. Mark too because he goes through with moves after Ben tells him even though he gets the chance to take moves back.

This was a lot of fun, both Ben and Mark's enthusiasm really madr this series work for me. It was also nice to see Ben set up a balanced game between them and being a great sport helping Mark out. All around exciting game, and I hope we see more (maybe if Ben becomes world champion?).

This game would be so badass with multiple systems and hyperspace jumps between them. You could have several games going at the same time, orders from generals, all sorts of cheeky maneuvering. Man that'd be cool

Looking back on this video having played the game for over a year now. Mark needed to take out howlrunner with Han, then hope for the crit on the Bomber xwing. Structural damage which is 1/3 of that damage deck would kill the raider

I need more armada. I wanna get this game but its not cheap so I'm on the fence about investing into the starter set. I need to see more to make a final decision.
It really us a great game! If you're patient with your buyes you can find ships for cheap, up to 50% in my experience.
I would definitely just keep an eye out on sites that sell it and wait for sales. I’ve been on the fence with it as well for months now because of the price, but I did a routine check yesterday and Amazon was selling the core set for $45 for some reason. Scooped it and an expansion up for the normal price of the core set. Just keep looking and you’ll find some great deals :)

How did ben's raider go through the pickle, shouldn't it have been a ram? if not, then shouldn't mark have been able to go around the raider if the raider can go around him?
I believe it was because the raider would end its movement without its footprint covering the pickle, while the pickle at speed one would always stop its movement on top of the raider.

Just in case that writing 'more' here could help influence the decision to do more, here is my 'more'.
I personally find this Armada tabletop very interesting, but the other coop boardgames that Ben and Lewis played are also good (Like Star Wars Rebellion)
The battleboys necromunda seems good, as it is 40k miniatures and 4 lovely chaps, but the rules/game-system just doesn't entertain me whatsoever. It feels like the battles and the action have not a lot of consequences, in contrast to the other boardgames where death is always lurking around the corner.
I would love to see ben playing agents another player who is experienced and see him using all his skill instead of being nice, although I understand why he did it in this game
