The woman seemed completely unconcerned about the welfare of her child... She immediately starts remonstrating with the driver instead picking her child up.
Driver should also be paying attention to the possibility there may be someone about to cross in front of them, if this had been a mother WALKING with their child, people wouldn't be calling the mother a bad parent, they'd be calling Joe P a moron, I thought even you would understand that much after I watched your own videos.

Highway code 127: A broken white line - This marks the centre of the road. When this line lengthens and the gaps shorten, it means that there is a hazard ahead. Do not cross it unless you can see the road is clear and wish to overtake or turn off. Highway code 1: Pedestrians - If you have to step into the road, look both ways first.
The car wasn't moving when she set off in front of it. He started moving when she was in front of him so he was clearly only looking to the right when he set off. She was in the wrong too but he clearly wasn't paying attention.

I had this happen to me coming out of a petrol station once, turning left, big tall hedge to the left. Looking right to watch for traffic, a cyclist bombing along went over my bonnet, then yelled his head off saying he was a pedestrian! Been walking been alright but cycling at speed on the pavement it wasn't. He sort of backed down with me!
Just want to say there's a difference between cyclists and just people on bikes. The cyclist is considerate and doesn't do these things, people on bikes however, do.
If you can see from ages away that someone is going to pull out infront of you...slow down. Don't accelerate and beep and swear so you have some dash cam footage to share
First video is the motor cyclist fault. He is riding on the wrong side of the road, and isn't performing any sort of manoeuvre. It's also not possible to say he was 'filtering lanes' given the fact that the road is a single carriageway. The pedestrian has seen stationary traffic when he had checked right and has reasonable assumed that nothing more could be coming from the right side. This biker could easily have a section 3 RTA (careless driving) or a S2 RTA (dangerous driving) libelled against him.
Blah b Again, not the case. A pedestrian should look both ways and be aware of the possibility of filtering traffic, filtering traffic should be aware of pedestrians, around vehicles which obstruct visibility this becomes even more important. The Netherlands might have slightly different laws surrounding filtering, or the biker might have been going too fast. The fact that the biker stops so quickly demonstrates that they were going at a reasonable speed.
Blah b Apart from Rule 7 (especially part E) and _arguably_ Rule 12 (is concerning only bicycles and buses) which mention filtering or contra-travelling traffic. Traffic does filter, you should be aware of it, especially when crossing near large vehicles that obstruct your view and other user’s view of you.
The motorcyclist was legally filtering (there is no law preventing any vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road so long as there isn't a solid white line). The pedestrian crossed the road without looking. Rule 1 of the Highway Code states "If you have to step into the road, look both ways first."
It's a legitimate situation for filtering (which he is doing, your definitions are wrong), but he's going faster than I'd recommend given the obstructed visibility.
Name wrong, motorcycle was riding legally ( not my opinion, read the Highway Code ) pedestrians should always double check before stepping out into traffic.
To all cammers, just a tip. If you are cut up or see a driver of a vehicle texting/phoning with company information on it send it to the owners email. Some companies are very concerned when their employees show them in a bad light.
I'd like to see insurers asking for such sightings too. Car/vehicle insurance is high enough as it is..... they should be able to financially penalise people who phone/text drive because they bear a greater proportion of risk to all road users.... ....and it's interesting how being hit in the pocket is a good incentive to not break the law (eg; slowing down for speed cameras).

That sort of thing is coming. The number of accidents has actually been increasing due to phone use. According to one insurance company looking at a two-city metro area in the Netherlands (Arnhem and Nijmegen) the number of accidents nearly doubled there in two years. Ussually minor fender-benders between cars, fortunately. But distracted drivers who are either using their phone, calling hands-free or fidgeting with their navigation, are a danger indeed.
He was stationairy - I don't know the rules in the UK, but in The Netherlands you are allowed to use your phone while waiting for a traffic light or standing still in traffic congestion.
Patrick van Maarschalkerweerd That is ridiculously stupid and dangerous. A driver should NEVER even touch a phone whilst on the road, in any circumstances!
Mum with the kid.. Wrong side of the road.. no helmet.. no hi-vis stuff.. K sure the driver should look, look and then look again but that's all her fault..
Seriously! I had to watch 7:23 four times before I realised that a person went over the line. Try watching Russian and Chinese brutal and fatal crashes! They will shit you up! People plowing through several mopeds! Whole families being killed cos a lorry driver fell asleep at the wheel! An Indian wedding where the bride and groom are travelling the wrong direction on a motorway and several party goers are killed ! A lorry driver speeding into a tunnel killing 12 people and injuring dozens! Motorcycle stopping on a railway crossing and coming out as soup! Fuel tanker falling off a viaduct and exploding! Pedestrians with prams being thrown 100 feet in the air and no, the baby dies! People driving at 70 MPH in snow and expecting to stop when a lorry overtakes another lorry! Get some perspective! I assume all drivers are moronic idiots and I always expect the unexpected! I drive on the A1 and the A605 every day so I see everything!
I don't know if you've seen the new Blade Runner film, but it offers surprising scope for a "Blade Runner: Shitting Peugeot" insert. You know what you have to do.
The first video clearly shows the motorcyclist is in the wrong. Driving on the wrong side of the road in an effort to beat the traffic queue. Why would a pedestrian look the other way in all reality?
Spider: Did you get the number plate of the twat that ran into the back of the invisible big, red bus? Due car & attention allied to leaving the scene of an incident and he'll be riding *inside* one rather driving behind it.
+Dashcam Lancs: *The lane/hard shoulder should have been closed due to a broken down vehicle. Common sense really.* To be fair, we don't know how long before that vehicle broke down.... it could have only just happened,. Of course, as PhantomScottZ says, they're a bad idea. My personal opinion is that they're just a 'cheap' alternative to building an extra lane on each side of the road. I also think that the reason why dashcam/cyclecams are so important because we have an increase population, and the resultant increase in traffic..... but not the corresponding increase in road infrastructure to go with it. As a result, it has bred impatience where people aren't willing to wait and use caution.... they're just 'going for it' because they'r thinking "If I don't go NOW, I'll never get out!" We saw examples in this video.... The motorbike at the start filtering in the oncoming lane, The car going around the van at 1:21, The driver at 2:00 not looking both ways before pulling out of a junction that would only result in him waiting in traffic anyway. The tailgater at 4:30 who just HAD to get past. The bus pulling out at 5:09 The bus pulling out at 5:37 The car at 6:24 using the wrong side of the road (and island) to cut the traffic. The car jumping the red light at 6:40 The van at 7:48 undertaking and cutting in front (removing the stopping distance safety margin). The car overtaking at 8:03 despite the dashcam car slowing (and probably indicating right, but we can't har it). The car overtaking and left hooking at 8:22 The coach pulling out at 8:56 The car pulling out at 9:12 The car undertaking at 9:29 The car overtaking into oncoming traffic 9:40 *10 cars* running the red light (and people complain about cyclists!) like sheep. The list above shows that 'impatience' is the biggest danger out on the road.... because it's the main content for this video compilation.
PhantomScottZ another case of broken down person not knowing to dial 999/highways before aa/rac.. in principle they work. Just people don’t know how to use them.
Jon R.....cant really blame that astra for overtaking you, your driving is awful, and you should have checked before turning right. You tend to find the slowest drivers are the worst drivers
Tbh on the first one the motorbike was going the wrong way so I don’t blame the guy for running into him 🤨 Although he should have looked both ways first
April Mountaincake I think you mean wrong side of road, but it’s called filtering and allowed on a bike and to move over as far as he did is because it gives you more time when idiots walk out without looking, he pulled back closer because on coming traffic.
If you are having trouble playing this go to it via Web browser it doesn't like mobile or TH-cam app. Make sure you have ticked desktop site so you don't pop back into the app or the mobile site.
Was that superman that the motorcyclist crashed into in the first clip? Wow he even knocked the bike flying.😄 Also I do think the lady on the bicycle should have stopped at the curb before risking her own and her child's life especially if the roads were that congested.
Mark H needs to learn how to filter, wide in the oncoming lane with traffic coming towards him. Yes the pedestrian didn't look but he shouldn't of been there in the first place.
The idea of filtering is to increase rider safety, I’ve never been rear ended by a 2 tonne vehicle because I filter. If all bikes in London didn’t filter the traffic would be around 60% worse, that’s an old estimate so now would probably be a higher %
That group mentality in the last clip should be shown to a psychology class! 10 people all ignored the red light because somebody else did. That's actually fucking incredible! I can't remember the proper phrase for it, but there's a specific term for when people do that, but that was kind of amazing how people will do that just to follow the herd, even though the light was blatantly red for them!
Cyclists are supposed to be on the road or in cycle lanes, not on the pavement. All of the time cyclists engage in illegal activity like riding on the pavement or jumping red lights (I see examples of all of this every day in Norwich) accidents like this are going to happen. Just follow the rules like everybody else on the road and everyone will be safe!
I usually pull away from red lights on my bicycle when I know they are going to turn green and the other lights are all red etc... I know technically I shouldn't but it does let cars pull away quicker and get past me. I see cyclists not even slow down for red lights, let alone stop... That I don't do, and that is just asking for an accident.
Soton Droid clearly not a shared path in the video though is it?!?! Some car drivers don't give enough space agreed but in my experience every day I drive to work I see cyclists jumping red lights at the end of my road....go figure. Rules apply to everyone equally. When challenged, some cyclists don't think they're doing anything wrong by riding on the pavement...
joe p was not moving at the point where the woman on bike crossed, hard to say who to blame as he should check road is clear before moving off, and she should be more aware of what traffic is likely to do prior to crossing.
Cliffjumper24 cyclist was riding on path illegal did not stop and chexk to make sure it was safe to cross then whilst crossing she is illegally riding into oncoming traffic woman is completely at fault it was her 3 errors that caused this not the driver .
the woman with the baby clearly doesnt know the proper way to ride a bike, with a child she should stop even if there isn’t traffic, saftey for you child first
Yep, you can't really see to the right on that junction due to the roundabout. I work right outside that junction and I'm constantly hearing horns from it.
"Meeeeeeeeeeehhhh...... everyone else is doing it, so I can too" I've created a road version of the 'Insomniacs riddle' ("If a tree falls in a forest and there's no-one around... did it make a sound?".... *If someone breakes the law, but there isn't a police officer there to witness it.... is it really a 'crime'?!* This why we still see people not wearing seatbelts, speeding and using the phone!
With regards to the woman with child on a bike, you all seem to have missed that she was riding on the pavement ! As far as I’m aware, it is illegal to ride on the pavement, so she is in the wrong on that count as well as not looking at traffic pulling out AND not having the correct safety gear on, i.e. a helmet for her and her child.
Cycling on the pavement, entering a road junction at speed opposite direction to her travel, her and passenger not wearing helmets. and yet blames the driver!
Honsetly cant believe that biker mum had the nerve to shout at the driver 100 % her fault and as other people saying neither her or the kid had a helmet on, poor kid :-( hope their okay at least

Yeah absolutely disgusting seeing a driving instructor on the phone.
Actually looks like she's riding on the pavement.. Which isn't legal either.
I'm having sound issues at around 9:00
3:28 They should paint buses bright colours to stop this from... oh... wait
2:35 she looks more concerned about the bike than the kid...
something goes wrong with the sound at about the 9:15 min mark :/
The first video clearly shows the motorcyclist is in the wrong. Driving on the wrong side of the road in an effort to beat the traffic queue. Why would a pedestrian look the other way in all reality?
Spider: Did you get the number plate of the twat that ran into the back of the invisible big, red bus?
Due car & attention allied to leaving the scene of an incident and he'll be riding *inside* one rather driving behind it.
I watch the clip at 9:07 gets me every time. I watch it every time I'm sad.
When you're so angry you just yell xD
OIIIIIIII!
7:10 - Prime example of why smart motorways are a bad idea..
The lane/hard shoulder should have been closed due to a broken down vehicle. Common sense really.
+Dashcam Lancs: *The lane/hard shoulder should have been closed due to a broken down vehicle. Common sense really.*
To be fair, we don't know how long before that vehicle broke down.... it could have only just happened,.
As a result, it has bred impatience where people aren't willing to wait and use caution.... they're just 'going for it' because they'r thinking "If I don't go NOW, I'll never get out!"
We saw examples in this video....
The motorbike at the start filtering in the oncoming lane,
The car going around the van at 1:21,
The driver at 2:00 not looking both ways before pulling out of a junction that would only result in him waiting in traffic anyway.
The tailgater at 4:30 who just HAD to get past.
The bus pulling out at 5:09
The bus pulling out at 5:37
The car at 6:24 using the wrong side of the road (and island) to cut the traffic.
The car jumping the red light at 6:40
The van at 7:48 undertaking and cutting in front (removing the stopping distance safety margin).
The car overtaking at 8:03 despite the dashcam car slowing (and probably indicating right, but we can't har it).
The car overtaking and left hooking at 8:22
The coach pulling out at 8:56
The car pulling out at 9:12
The car undertaking at 9:29
The car overtaking into oncoming traffic 9:40
*10 cars* running the red light (and people complain about cyclists!) like sheep.
The list above shows that 'impatience' is the biggest danger out on the road.... because it's the main content for this video compilation.
PhantomScottZ another case of broken down person not knowing to dial 999/highways before aa/rac.. in principle they work. Just people don’t know how to use them.
Cliffjumper24 You have way too much time
how is it a smart motorway without a gantry with a red X saying lane closed so people have long advance warning that there's a blockage in the lane?
"If I didn't stop then that would have been an accident"
OH REALLY?
I know this video is old and you are allowed to filter but the guy is pretty much riding into oncoming vehicles 0:23
G that road down in Splot is a pain I had some idiot push through on me and had the cheek to give me the finger when I beeped him
Mum on the bike needs a bike test lol
Jon R.....cant really blame that astra for overtaking you, your driving is awful, and you should have checked before turning right.
You tend to find the slowest drivers are the worst drivers
Tbh on the first one the motorbike was going the wrong way so I don’t blame the guy for running into him 🤨 Although he should have looked both ways first
April Mountaincake I think you mean wrong side of road, but it’s called filtering and allowed on a bike and to move over as far as he did is because it gives you more time when idiots walk out without looking, he pulled back closer because on coming traffic.
5:00 love that. Not uncommon.
7:08 classic example of everyone driving too close. Lucky.
plenty of WTF moments in here... RIP Capri :'(
1:45 RIP to that classic motor 😢 😔
If that set of lights at the end had a red light camera, the UK's road repair funding would be covered for the rest of the year.
I get road rage watching these videos! 😡
Nice vid but the sound messed up for me at the end. Refreshed a couple of times but still got it. Just a heads up :)
3:00 a Nissan GTR in white
michael thame can't believe I missed it damnn
If you are having trouble playing this go to it via Web browser it doesn't like mobile or TH-cam app. Make sure you have ticked desktop site so you don't pop back into the app or the mobile site.
Was that superman that the motorcyclist crashed into in the first clip? Wow he even knocked the bike flying.😄 Also I do think the lady on the bicycle should have stopped at the curb before risking her own and her child's life especially if the roads were that congested.
That usually happens when you're in the wrong lane.
Dont know if its just me but the audio seems wrong towards the end, there is arguing going on as it outro's
With the mum of the year clip it’s funny to guess what there saying through their hand gestures
Mark H needs to learn how to filter, wide in the oncoming lane with traffic coming towards him. Yes the pedestrian didn't look but he shouldn't of been there in the first place.
the biker should watch road markings and be prepare for the unexpected wait in the line of traffic.
The idea of filtering is to increase rider safety, I’ve never been rear ended by a 2 tonne vehicle because I filter. If all bikes in London didn’t filter the traffic would be around 60% worse, that’s an old estimate so now would probably be a higher %
5:12 don't know why the motorbike was beeping for the bus was half way across the road.
3:30 if I hear this damn tune on another TH-cam vid, i'm gonna lose the plot!
Phil G - 9.27 looks like you were lane hogging and the other drivers patience wore thin 🤔
Informative social influence (ISI)
The bus one looked like crash for cash to me. When I saw the bloke holding his neck.
"like everybody else" lol
I usually pull away from red lights on my bicycle when I know they are going to turn green and the other lights are all red etc... I know technically I shouldn't but it does let cars pull away quicker and get past me.
I see cyclists not even slow down for red lights, let alone stop... That I don't do, and that is just asking for an accident.
Do you know what a shared path is? Also, I follow the rules of the road and STILL I get idiots passing too close and shit.
Soton Droid clearly not a shared path in the video though is it?!?! Some car drivers don't give enough space agreed but in my experience every day I drive to work I see cyclists jumping red lights at the end of my road....go figure. Rules apply to everyone equally. When challenged, some cyclists don't think they're doing anything wrong by riding on the pavement...
that kid on the back of the bike was hilarious hahah
Did anyone else get the audio from ealier clips playing near the end of the video?
Video not available.
capri :o(
joe p was not moving at the point where the woman on bike crossed, hard to say who to blame as he should check road is clear before moving off, and she should be more aware of what traffic is likely to do prior to crossing.
Indeed... he started to move as her front wheel passed the front of his car.
Rule 170 of the Highway Code says "Look all around you before emerging."
Cliffjumper24 cyclist was riding on path illegal did not stop and chexk to make sure it was safe to cross then whilst crossing she is illegally riding into oncoming traffic woman is completely at fault it was her 3 errors that caused this not the driver .
The pedestrian walked in to the bike and had a smile on his face the whole time
The woman on the pushbike should just learn to apologise, poor cycling and a poor role model🙄🙄
She was cycling on the pavement which is illegal and she going the wrong way against traffic, she should have been on the other side of the road.
Chris M seems to be catching all the small things on his dashcam
That man got off the bus knew he was in-line for compensation with a sore neck.
That first clip where the barriers where was where I was working in Brixton road Kennington
LOL at first clip, who the hell drops a BMW GS for something so minor?
Her classy tattoos make me think it wasn’t her fault haha
This video is not available??
the woman with the baby clearly doesnt know the proper way to ride a bike, with a child she should stop even if there isn’t traffic, saftey for you child first
xdzej97 5:09 Slow down and let the 121 pull out, don't need nutters like you riding around Southgate.
I wonder how many self-entitled bikers kick the bucket every day because they refuse to give way if needed.
Yep, you can't really see to the right on that junction due to the roundabout. I work right outside that junction and I'm constantly hearing horns from it.
10:17 Good old sheep mentality
They must have convinced themselves the lights were faulty.
"Meeeeeeeeeeehhhh...... everyone else is doing it, so I can too"
I've created a road version of the 'Insomniacs riddle' ("If a tree falls in a forest and there's no-one around... did it make a sound?"....
*If someone breakes the law, but there isn't a police officer there to witness it.... is it really a 'crime'?!*
This why we still see people not wearing seatbelts, speeding and using the phone!
What, create a road version of the insomniacs riddle?! Heh heh!!
video not available on app. only web browser
Very very poor show by the AA driving school at about 5:00 in. Definitely not leading by example!
5:13 the bus was pulling out way before you got anywhere near him, maybe you should check your speed.
Is there any need for the shitty filler music in every clip that doesn't have audio ?
Lady on bike with kid ridding on sidewalk(1) going wrong way(2) and blames car drover
What happened in the last clip?
The Omega driver was either Drunk or 12.
1:21 chris m, the unbelievable irony of you calling the other driver an impatient twat
3.01 min - GTR!!! GTR!!! 😍
What happened to this video
8.50 onward, is it just me or does the audio keep looping?
1.48 i bet that Ford Capri only comes out at weekends! and what happens? some clown crashes into it!
Cycling on the pavement, entering a road junction at speed opposite direction to her travel, her and passenger not wearing helmets. and yet blames the driver!
watching at work and the first video that comes on is outside my work.....weird
What the hell was going on with the old Vauxhall and the bus!
Honsetly cant believe that biker mum had the nerve to shout at the driver 100 % her fault and as other people saying neither her or the kid had a helmet on, poor kid :-( hope their okay at least
