Yeah… Cloud’s soldier voice is very deep and bold, but when Cloud said “Hey 🥺,” his tone became softer and delicate since it was the second time he saw Tifa cry back in Nibelheim. Rebirth is gonna destroy us, all, isn’t it. ☹️
I haven’t gushed this hard for Cloud in a while.
All I have to say with how they handled him in the remake is that he’s fucking adorable and is such an awkward dork at times. ❤️

I know it's a joke but to bring awareness I need to do this. Actually, at that point of the game, Zack is wiped from his memory. He thought Zack in his memory was himself. That's why when Aerith said that name, he had a headache.

I relate to Cloud so much. We're both socially awkward 21 year olds trying so hard to be cool, but no clue how to act in the most normal situations
I even shate an MBTI with him it's crazy. I hold the original FF7 dear to me for having such a relatable character with Cloud.

As a socially awkward 21 y/o, the secret is to stop trying to be cool. Instead, be relatable and listen to people. See real people as your guide instead of fictional people and even if its hard, learn to interact. Being cool comes naturally

Well you never know.....I honestly think it was a good reaction...like imagine a person you only met during a mission but you don’t know them very well and they’re meet your child in a weird way.

I'll be honest, I was terrified the moment barrett said "Hey"
You would figure that cloud as a soldier would of had the instincts to grab the sword off his back and point it at barret's neck and say something like "who the fuck do you think you're talking too?"
This is one of the reasons why I love Cloud. That bit of awkwardness is honestly kinda cute.
When Cloud finally caught on and returned Aerith’s high five I couldn’t help but loud whisper my praise to him. He’s such an awkward dork, I love him so much!

Fun fact is, in Japanese his dialogue and way of speaking is goofier than in English ! (Not saying I don't like the English voice, I love it ! Just that it's definitely worth checking out if you love Cloud or want to know his character more!)

I wouldn't exactly say it was a horrible translation, but it wasn't very accurate and I would always get so confused when I read the subs, but understood what they were actually saying sometimes ahaha

Lots of people blame the voice actors, but I feel they did the best with what they had (well most anyway) But who the hell did the script changes?

Well Cloud never really had any strong friendships and he only believed his relationship with Aerith is temporary hence why he was very surprised to be offered a High Five. This is why he was so broken when Zack died because he was the only friend he really had after being excluded by most people in his life.
Surely he knows what it is. But he is very unused to actually doing it "in practice", and coordinating with and responding to someone else accordingly.
This is why Cloud is my second favorite character. He's so adorable and so relatable at the same time.
